Not even a full season has passed in America, and already The Face, a reality television show about models competing for a contract as the face of a brand is set to air in the UK. In the US, the programme is hosted by Naomi Cambell, Coco Rocha and Karolina Kurkova, however so far Naomi is the only one signed for the UK version. The girls are broken down into three teams, each with an aforementioned mentor where they undergo all kinds of model-type challenges. The last one standing wins. Naomi said,

"I am looking for the ultimate model. It doesn't matter where you are from or who you are, The Face is about one thing. I'm looking for contestants who have the whole package — a beautiful face, great body, unique look, confidence, drive and passion, the ability to change and transform, a willingness to follow direction and above all, a strong work ethic. Bringing the show over from the US is a real honour and it's great to be working with Princess Productions and Shine TV. UK talent is world class, so I'm really looking forward to uncovering our next rising star. The show is a real insight into the modelling world — it's authentic and fast-paced."

Stay tuned as the show will run on Sky Living, however a pilot date has not yet been released. However, if you are a female model (aged 18 and over), you can apply to thefacecasting@princesstv.com for an audition. Will you set your DVR's to follow The Face?

The 2012 London Olympics have come to a close! The closing ceremony wrapped up in London last night, and there were many famous Brits who took part in the fun. The theme was a celebration of British music, and British bands Muse, the Spice Girls, George Michael, The Who, and even the guys of One Direction were on stage! The production included a particularly optimistic note from Monty Python's Eric Idle with "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life."

There was also a tribute to British fashion, with models Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, and Karen Elson strutting their stuff. The royals were in attendance to see the spectacle, with Kate Middleton and Prince Harry having prime seats. Check out all the closing ceremony pictures here!

Kate Moss was one of eight British models to strut her stuff at the Olympics Closing Ceremony last night. She — along with Georgia Jagger, Stella Tennant, Naomi Campbell, Karen Elson, Lily Cole, Lily Donaldson, and Jourdan Dunn — were wheeled out into the stadium inside billboard-sized images of themselves. They burst through the paper to reveal themselves in the flesh, clad in various gold-toned dressed designed by British designers. David Gandy was the lone male model to join the group. Kate wore a gown by her late friend Alexander McQueen, while Georgia wore something from Victoria Beckham. The gang made their way around Olympic Stadium to a medley of David Bowie songs, including his tune "Fashion."

Naomi Campbell welcomed fashionable friends like Kate Moss to a Fashion For Relief charity dinner held at London's Downtown Mayfair restaurant last night. The dinner, held as an Olympic celebration, came just before a rumored appearance at Sunday's closing ceremony for Naomi and Kate. They're apparently walking in a portion of the show dedicated to British style, and will don outfits from UK designers.

Both Naomi and Kate are home in London following exotic getaways. Naomi was just in Ibiza for a bikini-clad yacht vacation, and Kate wore a swimsuit cruising around the Mediterranean with her husband, Jamie Hince. Last night, Kate donned a black and gold caftan while Naomi made the rounds in black Roberto Cavalli. They models said hi to Sarah Ferguson, Lily Donaldson, Rolling Stone Ron Wood, and designers Vivienne Westwood and Sarah Burton.

Last month, rumours claimed British models would take part in a fashion event as part of the Olympics Closing Ceremony in London this August. Documents leaked and published today have now added further details about this tribute to great British fashion. As previously reported, Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell will walk the catwalk, and today's reports suggest they will be joined by Stella Tennant, Lily Cole and Georgia May Jagger wearing outfits from the likes of Vivienne Westwood and Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen to a music backdrop of David Bowie songs 'Fashion' and 'Rebel Rebel'. While I'm disappointed Rosie Huntington-Whiteley's name seems to have dropped off the list, I can't wait to see the event. Are you excited for this Olympic fashion parade at the Closing Ceremony on August 12?
