It's been a star-studded few days in Berlin, where Anne Hathaway, James Franco, Rooney Mara, and many more celebs have popped up to premiere their films at the Berlin International Film Festival. Today, Rooney Mara and Jude Law met up in the German capital to present their film, Side Effects. Earlier in the festival, a Chanel-clad Anne linked up with Les Misérables costar Hugh Jackman to promote their hit project. Their costar Amanda Seyfried was pulling double-duty at the festival, where she premiered Les Misérables as well as her upcoming film Lovelace with James Franco and Peter Sarsgaard. Matt Damon dropped by last Friday when he and costar John Krasinski introduced their film, Promised Land. Click through to check out all of the action in Berlin!
Jake Gyllenhaal stepped out to support mom Naomi Foner, the screenwriter behind Very Good Girls, at the film's Sundance Film Festival premiere last night. He was joined by brother-in-law Peter Sarsgaard, who's married to Maggie Gyllenhaal and also stars in the picture. It was an extra busy night for Peter, since he also debuted Lovelace with Amanda Seyfried. Very Good Girls leading lady Dakota Fanning attended the screening at the Eccles Center theater and later on linked up with her and Peter's costar Elizabeth Olsen at an afterparty. Jake made the rounds with his pal Jenny Lewis. He looked good while doing so — Jake has a new look, with slicked-back hair, for a new project. He's been in Georgia making Prisoners with Hugh Jackman.

Maggie's pregnancy news was announced in November and in the following months she showed off her baby bump during walks near her Brooklyn home. She hasn't debuted the family's new addition just yet, but Peter was spotted out picking up treats at their neighborhood store Bierkraft last weekend. Congrats to the new family of four!
Ryan Reynolds and Peter Sarsgaard kept their European Green Lantern trip going today at the Berlin premiere of the movie. The onscreen nemeses threw their arms around each other to pose for pictures and cracked each other up on the green carpet as they debuted the superhero film in Germany. Peter's promotional duties prevented him from joining his wife Maggie Gyllenhaal at her father, Stephen Gyllenhaal's, wedding this weekend in Oahu. Instead, Peter and Ryan are globetrotting, as their 3D film enjoys an international rollout, kicking things off with a stop in Spain last week. Green Lantern hit theaters in America on June 17, and while it took the top spot at the box office its first weekend, it didn't perform quite as well as some of this Summer's other big action features like Thor and current number one Captain America.
Ryan Reynolds and Peter Sarsgaard teamed up in Madrid yesterday for the Spanish debut of Green Lantern. The superhero movie opened in the USA in late June, taking the top box-office spot in its first weekend of release, but is just now hitting some European countries. Peter and Ryan didn't have their leading lady Blake Lively along for their trip overseas, since she's already back to work shooting Gossip Girl. Blake, Ryan, and Peter all joined forces at the LA premiere of Green Lantern earlier this Summer, where Ryan dished to us on Blake's impressive baking skills. Ryan's continued promotional duties for the action film are overlapping with his press rounds for his body-swap comedy The Change-Up, which hits theaters in early August.
Blake Lively donned a Chanel couture gown last night to hit the red carpet at the LA premiere of Green Lantern. She had her costar Ryan Reynolds for company on the West Coast after both actors spent a few days doing interviews in NYC. Blake and Ryan each stopped by Today and Live! With Regis and Kelly, but she had time for a date night with Leonardo DiCaprio at the Darby. Blake and Ryan are now gearing up for their blockbuster's release tomorrow; unfortunately, the Green Lantern reviews don't look too good. That didn't diminish Blake and Ryan's enthusiasm yesterday, and he was happy to share all about how she appointed herself the on-set baker while they shot the movie last Summer. Ryan even had support from his costar, Jason Bateman, in his next movie The Change-Up, who brought along wife Amanda Anka. There's lots more to come from the blue carpet — stay tuned for today's PopSugar Rush!
Blake Lively kept warm in her coat last night as she took a break from filming the Gossip Girl finale for a night at the BAM theatre gala. Blake's been hitting the headlines as she's starring in the new Chanel ad campaign — FabUK has all the amazing photos. She posed with her Green Lantern costar Peter Sarsgaard at the event, who attended with his wife Maggie Gyllenhaal. Claire Danes looked fab in an LBD as she attended with her hubby Hugh Dancy, while Hugh Jackman and Geoffrey Rush were also among the attendees.
My girl Buzz wasn't alone in her excitement for the Green Lantern panel — Comic-Con fans started camping out in line the night before to get a glimpse of the flick, and probably Ryan Reynolds, too. She was happy to report back that they weren't disappointed. DC Comics brain Geoff Johns kicked it off with the very first teaser trailer, and it was much more satisfying than just that photo we saw last week. Reynolds, Blake Lively, Peter Sarsgaard, and Brit actor Mark Strong came out to talk up the film — even though they're still keeping mum on any spoilery details. Here's Buzz's report from Comic-Con:
- The teaser trailer doesn't show much — hence, why it's a teaser — but we do see more of Reynolds's Hal Jordan than his alter ego Green Lantern (in fact, I don't recall seeing him in costume during the clip at all); however, we do get a peek at the famous ring the hero wears. Lively is brunette, and Peter Sarsgaard is virtually unrecognisable underneath the heavy makeup (and ginormous head) he wears as Hector Hammond. The tagline at the end of the preview: "Await further contact."
- When asked about what it's like to be married to a fellow comic hero (wife Scarlett Johansson plays Black Widow in the Iron Man franchise), Reynolds laughed and remarked: "We've had some strongly worded dinners. We probably have more comic books lying around than your average married couple."
- Reynolds described his version of Hal Jordan as an "amalgamation between Chuck Yeager and Han Solo." "He can tell a joke, throw a punch and kiss a girl," said Reynolds. "Who wouldn’t want to play that for a movie? Let alone two or three." He wasn't the only one who hinted at a sequel — or better yet, a full franchise. Screenwriter Greg Berlanti also alluded to more films, as did Johns. Get ready for a full series, fans!

British stars Carey Mulligan and Colin Firth joined several of their fellow Oscar nominees for the Academy Awards Luncheon at The Beverly Hilton Hotel yesterday. My girl Buzz was there and chatted with Carey's fellow Best Actress nominees Gabourey Sidibe and Sandra Bullock, plus their competitor Meryl Streep also enjoyed the luncheon: stay tuned for even more interviews! Best Supporting Actress nominees Vera Farmiga, Anna Kendrick and Maggie Gyllenhaal were also in attendance, as was Maggie's man Peter Sarsgaard. Colin's fellow Best Actor nomiees Jeff Bridges, Morgan Freeman and Jeremy Renner posed for pictures, as did Best Supporting Actor nominees Christoph Waltz and Woody Harrelson, and Best Director nominees Quentin Tarantino and James Cameron. Are you excited for the Oscars on 7 March?

Maggie Gyllenhaal joined Peter Sarsgaard at the Paris Theatre in New York City last night for the premiere of An Education. Peter's costars Carey Mulligan and Dominic Cooper were also in attendance, although Dominic's girlfriend Amanda Seyfried couldn't make it. The trio of stars premiered the movie at the Toronto Film Festival last month, and the film is one of several great movies to hit our cinema screens this month: do you plan to see it or skip it? Find out how to recreate the film's fab frocks in your interior design thanks to my girl Casa's tips.
