Amy Winehouse has been denied a US work visa and will no longer be able to perform at a huge American music festival, after she was charged with assaulting a fan last week. Her spokesman said, “She is not appearing at Coachella this year in the light of current legal issues.” This will be a blow to her American fans, as well as to Amy, who no doubt was looking forward to getting back to work after her extensive break.
At last week's Ray Ban party she talked about her troubles with her husband Blake Fielder-Civil, saying:
“I want him back. I still love him and I don’t care what anybody else thinks. I don’t feel pretty, but being married to Blake makes me feel like the most beautiful woman in the world. Enough of all this sad talk, let’s go have fun.”
I just hope Amy concentrates on her career for a little while, even if she'll have to stay on this side of the pond to do it. What do you think?

everyone keeps saying she looks so much healthier, but in these pics Im really really not seeing it...
1well that just sucks for her that she's not able to come over here. i never really understood the whole process about getting visas and that makes me happy to know that we don't have the same stresses for a lot of the travel that we do overseas. i hope that she gets things sorted out.
2as for the blake thing - i think that she can do better and he's a bad influence on her but i guess we all tend to do things that aren't the smartest because of men.
I believe, as a citizen of the UK, she can travel to the U.S. but she cannot work in the US without a work visa. Same goes for American citizens. We can travel to the U.K. but cannot work there without a work visa.

4its her own fault, if she dosn't change her stupidity thats her own problem and consequences.... good on America for being safe and not just letting anyone in....wish it was the same here.
