Sir Alan Sugar fired Philip Taylor from The Apprentice on last night's show, making him the seventh contestant to leave the boardroom. Project manager Lorraine brought up Philip and Kate's relationship when the trio were being grilled by Sir Alan, but Philip says he has no regrets, and the couple are still together, following a brief split. I'd love to know what you think of Sir Alan's decision, so tell me: was the right person fired from The Apprentice?

Post a CommentI'm half and half.... I don't think Philip should win therefore probably should go.... but Lorraine is so ridiculous and should go asap!
They chose really bad products to sell so had a tough job. However the fact all they did in one day was call 20 people is pretty shocking. Ben was wise and just kept his mouth shut and therefore stayed out the firing line....
But Lorraine really won't last the pace and should go.
It does amaze me that these are the best people the UK has to offer in terms of 'business brains'.....
I didn't like him at all so I was glad to see him finally go. However, this show only makes me think that I could do a much better job in the business world! Where do they find these people? They become so childish when fighting for this one job!

no way he would've won it, but I don't think Lorraine should win it either.
I started to really not like Kate and despite the amount of times she said otherwise, she did let her relationship with Phillip affect the task, and I can't say if I was in Lorraine's position that I wouldn't bring it up too.
I quite liked Ben this week, which was odd - but he wasn't as abrasive as he normally is and I actually started to think he could win it.
I thought Lorraine was going to go (and I don't think she will last) but I thought Phillip deserved to go b/c he was an arrogant idiot whose only defense was to attack Lorraine and I really thought he, Kate and Ben were just taking the piss by not doing as much calling around as they could have. He called Lorraine pathetic in the board room last night but I think the only pathetic person in there was him. Good riddance.
hmmm, i thought he was gorgeous in the first....week, partly helped by the accent but seriously what a arrogant prat, and he said he knows he can be....so STOP being one, its so not sexy....i agree mostly with what bigestivediscui said, i thought Lorraine was going to go, she doesn't make much sense and i think she sometimes doesn't know what shes spewing out, she wont last long shes not a good speaker. i think they are all pretty bad though....the only one who is competent i reckon is Kate and even she went down in my estimations yesterday.....her ben and philip just mucked about and def did not try as hard as they should...which is so dim coz it just means there is more chance of them getting fired if there team loses.....which phillip was obviously not smart enough to think of.....
