Skins Movie Starts Filming This Year to be Released in 2011

We've heard lots about the upcoming Skins movie and now it's been stated that the cast will shoot this year in Bristol and the Isle of Man. The film will be released next year and will focus on series 3 and 4's cast with appearances from the first gang and possibly the introduction of the new series' cast. When the movie was originally confirmed in December, the majority of you wanted to see it — does this news make you happy?

i hate living in the us i get to watch shows later than everyone else! so i am watching skins on netflix! just finished season 1&2 and oh baby it's a wild world!!! mike was great as sid!!! started season 3 and i'm not impressed, i was let down when i saw that it wasnt the original cast..... just when the let you in and under their skin, they leave you??? no fair i want sid back! so is the movie going to be worldwide?? oh and mtv are a bunch ^^%^&&^$^%*&((&$#%^^%&(!!! skins us version is gayer than gay it is the wackest show ever! well not more than their other "hit" shows like 16 and pregnant (what the hell where they thinking?) jersey shore( i hate the way jersey ppl sound) and then finally3a.m. and only because the music sucks and for 3 hrs they play the ame videos over and over.. mtv should be rtv ( reality tard vision) lol

skinss is absolutly amazing! series 5 bit of a let down, but theres only been one ep! gen1 and gen2 are the best cast! and i love chris, cook and fredsterr

haha you should see by your own. Like I said I'm not objective, I love the show too much...xD. Right now its one of my favourites, it has amazing characters, epic, such as Cassie or Cook, and Effy (in the 3 first seasons, not last...) And yeah sofia, it maybe got ridiculously sometimes, but if you can see further from wild parties and drugs, you can feel theirs skins, be in theirs shoes and those emotions are unbelievably great. What can I say?I look it with mum's eyes.......; D

Lolol :') erm.... I enjoy watching it but I do think it's overrated. Thing is the 1st generation (seasons 1 and 2) was the best, as you could relate to the characters, but the 2nd generation (seasons 3 and 4) wasn't the same. It kind of went downhill from there and ridiculously OTT. BUT.... it's a good program :) just no the best ;)

I don't agree sofia. Littlemunchkin this is the best show ever!!!xD. Ok, sorry but I'm a huge fan I really mean it. No skins. No party. And this news make me the happiest person right now. Cant waiiiit!!Need to see generation 1 and 2 together especially Cook and cia!!
