Shakira gave birth to a baby boy! The singer and her boyfriend, Spanish soccer star Gerard Piqué, welcomed a son today in Barcelona. Shakira announced the baby's birth on her official website, saying, "We are happy to announce the birth of Milan Piqué Mebarak" and that "just like his father, baby Milan became a member of FC Barcelona at birth." She also included details on the meaning of the new baby's name.

Shakira tweeted to her fans earlier today, asking for prayers on "this very important day" in her life. The hospital has confirmed that both mother and baby are in excellent health. Congrats to Shakira on her new bundle of joy!

Orlando Bloom and Sarah Jessica Parker were the hot Hollywood stars who attended the 2010 Bambi Awards in Germany yesterday. SJP was casual when she touched down in Berlin yesterday, but on the red carpet she brought out the glamour. Her glitzy one-shoulder dress was just the first of three sexy looks, including an empire waist Elie Saab gown, for her big night as a presenter. Orlando was there to accept a statue honouring his charity work, though his wife, Miranda Kerr, didn't make the trip. The pregnant model was also missing from last night's annual Victoria's Secret show, though she caused a stir this week with her nude belly-baring picture in W. The couple have been apart while Orlando gets back to work on The Three Musketeers and Miranda takes care of her own business in LA. Shakira rounded out the event with another lively ab-baring performance after the MTV EMAs.

Eva Longoria hosted the MTV EMAs last night in Madrid, showing off 13 different outfits over the course of the show. Katy Perry helped with one costume change by removing Eva's skirt, and for another link the hostess was joined by a bevy of gorgeous men in their pants. Shakira opened the show with "Loca" and "Waka Waka", and was joined onstage by Dizzee Rascal. Meanwhile Miley Cyrus got rid of her maxi dress and showed off her pins for her performance.

Ke$ha was colourful as she picked up her best new act gong at the MTV EMAs tonight. Lady Gaga won three awards including best female and best song, though she didn't attend.

Justin Bieber hosted the online coverage of the show via satellite link from the US and also was awarded two trophies.

Hayley Williams picked up best alternative for her band Paramore, and Katy Perry also got to take home an award as well as her new hubby Russell Brand.

Lots of gorgeous women walked the red carpet at the MTV EMAs in Madrid this evening. Host Eva Longoria wore a LBD for her arrival outift, before undertaking multiple changes through the show.
