Okay, this is a weird thing to watch! The Skins US version now has a trailer, and it's basically made up of clips that are exactly the same as the first UK series. Tony isn't Nicholas Hoult, and Sid is now called Stanley, but they've pretty much remade the series with American teens — from Sid and Cassie's trampoline scene to so much more. Buzz noticed the similarities too — the only difference appears to be the accents — and it will be interesting to see if the show follows in the UK's footsteps and includes all its controversial subject matter. Check the preview out below and let me know what you think!
We've been waiting to find out who the third gang on Skins would be, and here they are! They include Dakota Blue Richards, who starred in The Golden Compass, alongside some faces you've never seen before but are sure to get to know in the Skins movie as well as series 5. Click through to see them all!
Dev Patel brought Freida Pinto to the premiere of The Last Airbender in NYC last night. Freida was amongst others wearing bright colours yesterday: tell FabUK who is your favourite. Dev's got the Skins movie coming up, and Freida's also got her own exciting project. She's been cast in a Planet Of The Apes prequel opposite James Franco. It's been a while since we last saw Dev and Freida walk a red carpet together, and they've enjoyed their downtime with zoo visits. The couple are still going strong, but Dev has revealed that they're not engaged.
Dev also hung out with director M. Night Shyamalan, who is already making waves with his next project. Dev's costar Jackson Rathbone wore white for the premiere, having opted for darker colours for Eclipse's big LA premiere. He's missing out on Eclipse's UK premiere tonight due to his press commitments for The Last Airbender, but plenty of his costars will be in Leicester Square, and so will I: follow me on Twitter for live updates! His movie with Dev is due out in August, and the vast majority of you are looking forward to seeing it.

Skins star Kaya Scodelario gets saucy in InStyle this month, stripping down to her smalls in the issue with Gwen Stefani on the cover. She showed off her sporty side at a Soccer Six tournament a couple of weeks ago, and will soon be starting on the Skins movie, which both Dev Patel and Nicholas Hoult will return for. Here are some extracts from her interview:
- On Clash of the Titans: “When they called me about it, I was in my flat and was screaming at my flatmates to turn down the TV. The whole time I was on set, I couldn’t get over the budget or the enormous scale.”
- On LA: “I’m frightened by the whole Hollywood thing. I’m only 18 and want to do it properly. I’ll go out when I’m ready.”
- On Manchester: “My boyfriend [Shameless actor Elliott Tittensor] lives in Manchester, so I ended up moving there, because I realised how expensive London was. I love it. It’s a big university town, so there’s lots of young people and the shopping is amazing.”
- On her crush on Tom Hardy: “I’d love to work on anything with him. I’d do a Martina Cole project if that ever came up. Oh, and obviously I’d like to work with Johnny Depp. Anyone hot.”

So, series four of Skins ended last week, and that marks the last series for the second generation of the cast. The first generation have gone on to some fab things, especially Nicholas Hoult and Dev Patel — so I'm rather excited by the possibility of them coming back for a Skins movie! Writer Jack Thorne spoke to the Guardian film podcast about his movie The Scouting Book for Boys, but also let slip some details about the Skins movie script that he's working on.
