New York Fashion Week continued yesterday with Kanye West and Vanessa Hudgens laughing together at Milk Studios during the Jeremy Scott show. The newly-tattooed Vanessa's been a firm fixture at fashion week this year, and also sat front row at Anna Sui with Fergie. Liv Tyler and Chloe Sevigny wore matching bright lipstick at Proenza Schouler, while Michael Douglas accompanied his wife Catherine Zeta-Jones to sit front row at the Michael Kors show. A whole host of animal-loving celebrities came together last night for PETA's 30th Anniversary Gala and Humanitarian Awards in LA. The charity honoured various stars, and winners included Lea Michele, Kellan Lutz, Eva Mendes, Eli Roth, Olivia Munn, Anjelica Huston, and Dave Navarro. Joaquin Phoenix also attended after appearing on Letterman last week, and his I'm Still Here partner in crime Casey Affleck was at the gala too, as was Kelly Osbourne.

The white carpet at Sunday's MTV Video Music Awards was full of bold fashion choices and beautiful ladies alongside plenty of hot guys. Lady Gaga didn't disappoint in a dramatic Alexander McQueen ensemble, while Katy Perry paired colourful hair and her nail art with a barely there Marchesa dress. She met Russell at last year's VMAs and while he wasn't by her side this time, he was on her manicure. Rosario Dawson kept it simple in a leather-like purple number, and Emma Stone opted for the real thing with a short LBD. Ashley Greene represented the Twilight cast in lacy black and white, and presenter Sofia Vergara's sparkles rounded out the group of glam girls, which also included the ladies of The Hills. The twosome looked happy on the red carpet, despite Drew not being willing to go into whether they're on or off at the moment. Kate Beckinsale and her hubby Len Wiseman came out to support Drew, as did Drew and Justin's costar Christina Applegate, who showed off her baby bump in a gorgeous purple dress.
