Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are still picking out a name for their daughter, whom they welcomed on Saturday, and it seems unlikely that she'll share her moniker with any other celebrity babies. Other stars have given their kids similar names, though, like JoAnna Garcia and Nick Swisher, whose daughter, Emme, short for Emerson, has the same name that Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony gave their daughter. Angelina Jolie, Gisele Bündchen, and many more have given their children the same names as some of their Hollywood peers. Click through to see which stars are on the same wavelength when it comes to baby names!
Nick and Vanessa became engaged last November after they began dating in 2006. Congrats to the newlyweds!
Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo's wedding will be televised! The pair are keeping their wedding date under wraps, but TLC announced plans to air a special, Nick & Vanessa's Dream Wedding, just weeks after they tie the knot. This will be Nick's second time taping his nuptials for TV. His and Jessica Simpson's 2002 ceremony aired on Newlyweds, which documented their lives together until their 2005 divorce. Nick chatted with Rolling Stone shortly after their split, placing some of the blame for the breakup on the series. He said, "Jessica and I began playing these parts even when we were by ourselves . . . There was a question about what truly was our reality.” Nick found a new love in Vanessa in 2006, the year she starred in one of his music videos, but tell us — are you surprised he agreed to have his special day air on TV the second time around?
Vanessa Minnillo threw on a bikini to party with friends at the Marquee Day Club at The Cosmopolitan hotel in Las Vegas on Saturday. She and eight girls were there to celebrate her bachelorette, which they kicked off with a night of dancing at Lavo on Friday. The weekend was just a continuation of Vanessa's pre-wedding festivities; she and Nick Lachey had a joint shower last month, and Vanessa followed that up with an intimate bridal shower with her close pals. Vanessa's apparently happy to finish up the events since she twittered about being ready to finally tie the knot despite planning being a "breeze." The bride-to-be has yet another reason to celebrate, though, as she was recently announced as the new cohost of Wipeout.
Many big stars of the music world turned out in LA Saturday night for Clive Davis's annual pre-Grammys party held inside the Beverly Hilton Hotel. Marie Claire covergirl Miley Cyrus cozied up to her pal and So Undercover costar Kelly Osbourne, while Vanessa Minnillo and Nick Lachey stopped to share about their Valentine's Day plans with BuzzSugar. Jennifer Hudson took the stage with performers like Matthew Morrison, who opened up at the bash about the joys of kissing Gwyneth Paltrow on Glee.
Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo had plenty to celebrate during their holiday in Los Cabos this weekend. The good looking couple announced their engagement last week, and both celebrate their birthdays on Tuesday — Nick will be 37 and Vanessa will turn 30! He looked hot shirtless in the sun, while Vanessa wore a couple of different bikinis as she sunbathed over the weekend, including a pale pink one with a big hat to keep the sun off her face as she chatted to friends. The engagement ring is said to be platinum and diamond, made by jewellers Bader & Garrin, and worth approximately $125,000!
Nick was formerly married to Jessica Simpson, which they documented on Newlyweds, though the two divorced in 2005 after three years as husband and wife. Nick and Vanessa took a short break from their relationship in 2009 but have been happily together ever since. Congratulations to Nick and Vanessa!
