Last night's semi-final of Britain's Got Talent saw comedy dance double act Stavros Flatley and young singer Shaheen Jafargholi storm into the final. They beat out competition from girl group Harmony, dancers MD Showgroup, The Barrow Boys, human saxophone Kay Oresanya, and flower arranging/ opera singing duo Floral Highnotes in definitely the most bizarre semi-final so far! So check out their performances and let me know if you think Shaheen and Stavros Flatley deserve their places among talents like Susan Boyle, Flawless, Diversity and Shaun Smith in Saturday night's final.

Post a Commentomg shaheen has such an amazing voice, i hear americans have voices like that but never a brit lol, he reminds me a bit of quindon tarver, the boy singer from romeo and juliet with leonardo dicaprio......i really really like starvos and his son they make my heart melt watching them but they weren't as good as their first performance and i think the dancers should have got through.
the dancers annoyed me with the 'it's for reece jones' ..... yes the situation is horrible, but the 'let's dedicate our performance to a liverpudlian who was stabbed to get some extra votes' ethic just makes me groan. the need for a sob story, rather than the enjoyment of performing to get the votes. also they're not as good as flawless or diversity, so weren't going to win in the final, so really why put them through?
stavros will give the final a comedy element, i thought they could've done a little more but i really like the guys. and the dad was so cute when he thanked his son for asking him to dance with him
shaheen is really good- completely agree hills, if he sung everybody's free it would really really suit his voice.
c4rolin3, i actually agree with you about the whole dedication thing, in a way i think its good to bring up these bad things that are going on and for people of all ages to try to make a change, but i agree at how freakin annoying it is that on things that you want to be entertained by like x factor or this, some people {i dont think in this case about these dancers} try to get your vote by drowning on about their own sob story or whatever and try to guilt trip you in to voting for them, like that lady rachel from last years xfactor, brits arnt really into the whole emotional sad stuff, i want comedy and fun not crying and people getting you to feel sorry for them.
