Last night was the first of the semi-finals for this year's Britain's Got Talent, featuring the incredible ten year old singer Natalie Okri, belly dancer Julie Naikendo, violinist Sue Son, freaky Nick Hell, the funny Faces of Disco, and the bizarre Darth Jackson. Natalie came in the top three, but the judges chose the fantastic dance act Diversity to join the immensely popular phone vote winner Susan Boyle in Saturday night's final. Check out their performances and let me know if you think they deserved their spots in the final!

Yay to Diversity. YAWN to Susan Boyle. So glad Natalie didn't get through. I think the Faces of Disco and Nick Hell were good, too!
1I thought Faces of Disco should of got though. Susan Boyle is good but i preferred Faces of Disco and Diversity.
2Susan Boyle wasnt good! She shldnt have been put through! And Im Scottish and Im saying this lol
3Susan Boyle's performance was fantastic. Diversity were also fantastic. The rest... why were they even there? Faces of Disco were clearly trying to get votes for their abs, not their talent! Maybe that is their talent?!
Susan Boyle will win. She just will.
4Diversity won this round hands down. The problem I am having with the show is the producing. It is not hard to tell how the producers have curated which performers will be competing with one another. In the case of this episode, this obviously left three top choices. We all know who was going to win first place, whether or not susan did a great job or not, obviously was of little importance. It was really unfortunate that 10 year old Natalie had to be pitted against a massive group of guys. The producers get a huge thumbs down for letting that happen sending a horrible message not only to this little girl, but to all little girls around the world who are aspiring to be like their women heroes. There are better ways to say sorry, your performance wasn't the best.
5those were the two i hoped would go through, and the three i wanted tonight went through, flawless were as the name says, they were so brilliant. wow, and i really like shawn smith he seems such a good guy.
6hmm i agree munchkin, i was willing her to get better through her performance, i still wanted her to go through though because i think she deserves it, i hope she does better next time, i wonder if the acts sort of get told which songs to do coz some of the acts seem so groomed, espesh that little girl natalie, it was such a crap song to pic for her, she could have had a much better song to match her voice, plus it was very candyfied......not good, and like simon said too 'cutsey' its fake.....
7susan boyle isn't even that good!!!! yes she is good.... but it's only through the hype rather than through talent now why she's being voted for and going through. she's a good singer but the woman is a weirdo. when she said that to pierce at the end i cringed and just want her out this competition.
8I've seen that this charity auction website has got tickets to Thursdays semi final of Britains Got Talent! Here's the link if anyone's interested and wants to go and cheer their favourite act on,

10Diversity were great but Susan Boyle, like so many other semifinalists, was better at the audition. Her antics made me cringe too but I did read somewhere that she had learning difficulties so it may be that she lacks some social skills.
The whole judge thing stinks, quite obviously rigged and makes a mockery of having people pay to vote for their favourite
11So glad Diversity won. What amazing role models they are to prove hard work and positive attitudes in youngsters of all ages really can work. I am proud to have them as Britains representaives of our talent. That weirdy scots woman's antics are not normal. Her responses and social behaviour were so inappropiate and very strange. She reminds me of those ladies that sing and dance on the tube train in the rush hour! I repeat, get rid of Amanda with her bad acting, embarrasing arm waving and lack of any quality experience in any theatrical sphere. It shows in her bad USA copy cat style of presenting herself. As for annoying Pearce who needs to go back to a desk job where nobody can see or hear him-where is his genuine knowledge and evaluation of anything. There must be better and more informed British people to be Cowell's sidekicks-or would they be too challenging for Simon I wonder. The only reason I watch this show is to be totally delighted and inspired by the few rare talents that emerge from the mire. Make better choices Simon and producers
