I'm so excited that Zooey Deschanel is getting more and more attention, as she's one of my favourite famous ladies. She's currently been on the US talk show circuit promoting her new movie with Mark Wahlberg – The Happening – a film sure to be twist-driven as it's from M. Night Shyamalan. Zooey was at The Late Show With David Letterman this week, explaining her name's origins and how she started out in acting as well as talking about the film – check out the video under the cut.
She's also a superb singer and plays in a band called She & Him with M. Ward who I highly recommend you check out if you haven't already. In addition to all that awesome, she always looks super-cute and she's flying the flag for pale girls like me!
