Get excited, because the early launch of Holiday and Spring collections means that a pop of colour will finally be coming back into the universe again. I realize that Winter has just begun, but I'm already ready for a change in this drab, dark season. Alas, Chanel comes to the rescue with its gorgeous new Holiday Bird of Paradise Collection, and the star product is a four powder shadow quad (£34) designed by Peter Phillips to mimic the golden birdcage from Coco Chanel's apartment. The compact contains copper, yellow, green-gold and teal (bluish-green) colours along with a double sided sponge applicator that goes on sale .
And on 15th January, Lancôme will wow us with their latest and greatest O My Rose Collection that includes ten different product types available in various (and might I add gorgeous) coral and teal shades. The product that has me totally in awe is the Pop N' Palette eye quad in Petrol (£31) which contains four shades of powder shadows in silver, dark olive green, metallic khaki and dark teal. Also, the matching creamy shadow or chunky liner pencil in Khol Gloss Pop Petrol (£18) and the nail varnish in Pop Petrol (£14) are also crave worthy.
