Last night's SAG Awards were packed with gorgeous dresses and beauty looks (which I hope you voted on here), but one of the most glamorous ladies to walk to red carpet posing either alone or with her on-screen hubby Jon Hamm, was January Jones from Mad Men. Her long Carolina Herrera dress and attention to every hair on her head is a far cry from her girl next door style we saw in American Pie: The Wedding. I absolutely love her makeup look here, but at this grand Hollywood event, in my opinion, this 1950s hairstyle stole the show!
To find out how to get the style that Frédéric Fekkai hairstylist Renato Campora created in four steps, just
- Step 1: Campora began by applying Fekkai Advanced Full Blown Styling Whip (£35) to Jones' wet hair to create volume. Next, he added in some Fekkai Coiff Contrôle Ironless Straightening Balm (£20) to help smooth out any flyaways.
- Step 2: Then, Campora parted January's hair to one side and blew it dry using a round brush.
- Step 3: To accentuate the wave on the top, he used a one inch curling iron setting the hair into pin curls. Once he released the curls, Campora brushed through the hair to create volume and shape.
- Step 4: Next, he pinned the hair at the centre of the head, revealing the nape of her neck for a dramatic effect. Lastly, he sprayed Fekkai Coiff Sheer Hold Hairspray (£20) generously all over her hair.
