Today brought the latest addition to Hollywood's long list of expecting parents — Kimberly Stewart is pregnant with Benicio Del Toro's baby! Kimberly and Benicio are not a couple, but the duo are apparently both very excited. Kimberly was linked to Jude Law a few years ago after calling off her engagement to Laguna Beach's Talan Torriero in 2005, while Benicio's been more focused on his acting career recently. The child will be the first for both celebs in addition to the first grandchild of Rod Stewart, who just welcomed his own eighth kid last month. So, we want to know what you think — is it awesome or pretty out-there that Kimberly and Benicio are expecting?
Elle Fanning posed with her onscreen dad Stephen Dorff and director Sofia Coppola at the LA premiere of Somewhere last night. The trio reunited at the Louis Vuitton-hosted event after Sofia and Stephen attended the film's Parisian debut last month. Elle is following in her older sister Dakota's actor footsteps by taking on more mature projects. The younger Fanning recently signed on to work with another big-name director, Cameron Crowe, in the upcoming adaptation of We Bought a Zoo. Somewhere is out in limited release around Christmas and most of you are excited to have hot, sometimes shirtless, Stephen back in the spotlight.

The Cannes Film Festival came to an end last night with the Palme d'Or Ceremony. Kate Beckinsale opted for a floor-length black number, while Salma Hayek went strapless and nude. Kirsten Dunst brought a pop of bright blue to the red carpet, and Diane Kruger sizzled in a hot pink Jason Wu gown: FabUK wants to know whether you love or hate her look.
Javier Bardem's role in Biutiful earned him the best actor award, which he shared with Elio Germano. Penelope Cruz skipped the red carpet, just like at Javier's film premiere, but was in the audience to support her man and the couple were spotted leaving together. Juliette Binoche was honoured with the best actress gong, and Thai film Uncle Boonmee Who Can Recall His Past Lives won the Palme d'Or. Gael Garcia Bernal brought some eye candy to the proceedings as the festival finished. Stay tuned for more pictures from the weekend.
James Franco arrived at Cannes yesterday and got straight to work with a press conference for Howl. He'll be busy at the festival as he's promoting multiple projects there. Michelle Williams looked chic before she attended the amfAR benefit, as she joined Ryan Gosling to talk about Blue Valentine — his rep has stepped in to state that the costars are not dating. Naomi Watts was out publicising Fair Game at a photocall in the sunshine and then in a glam dress after dark for the premiere.
Cannes Film Festival continued yesterday with more movies and some star-studded parties. Mischa Barton attended the Replay party, while her The OC costar Rachel Bilson was at the Art of Elysium Paradis dinner in a cute outfit. Emily Blunt wore a gorgeous one-shouldered white dress to the Fair Game cocktail party, while Naomi Watts went to the same event looking a little more casual alongside her King Kong costar Adrien Brody.
Rachel cosied up for photos with Ryan Gosling, although his Blue Valentine costar Michelle Williams wasn't present. Natalie Imbruglia performed at the Replay party after a quick outfit change from earlier in the afternoon. Avatar's Michelle Rodriguez also attended in leather.
Javier Bardem premiered Biutiful at the Cannes Film Festival last night. Penelope Cruz skipped the red carpet but she was by her man's side for dinner at the Majestic Hotel afterwards. Kate Beckinsale, Naomi Watts and Naomi Campbell had a busy evening attending both this event at the Chopard party, with a quick outfit change in between.
The Cannes Film Festival red carpet was awash with huge gowns yesterday. Following their photocall, the stars of Robin Hood brought out all the famous faces for their gala premiere. Russell Crowe was joined by wife Danielle Spencer, Cate Blachett wore a voluminous Alexander McQueen dress, and jury member Kate Beckinsale also went big in Marchesa.
Helen Mirren kept it simple in a floor-length black number, and Salma Hayek also went for a sleek silhouette in a maroon Gucci number: do you love it or hate it? Eva Longoria Parker followed in Cate and Kate's footsteps with a large dress. The men were also out, and jurors like Tim Burton and Gael Garcia Bernal looked sharp in their tuxes. See pictures of all the attendees in my gallery, and stay tuned for more memorable moments from Cannes.
