Amanda Seyfried and Justin Long made their relationship official when they made their first joint event appearance at the LAByrinth Theater Company's annual celebrity charades benefit in NYC last night. Amanda and Justin joined Saturday Night Live stars Bobby Moynihan and Rachel Dratch, as well as Rose Byrne and her Emmy-winning boyfriend, Bobby Cannavale, on the stage for a round of lively games. While Amanda looked happy to play with her beau at the bash, she gave some insight into one of her relationship no-nos when she tweeted sage love advice earlier this month, writing, "Stop tweeting your significant other." Maybe Amanda's tweet reveals why Justin rarely tweets at his blond lady, except when it's to praise her performance in Lovelace.
Nicole Kidman opened up about her high-profile marriage to Tom Cruise in a new interview for the December issue of Vanity Fair, which hits newsstands on Nov. 5. Nicole married Tom when she was just 23 years old, and the pair's romance was constant gossip fodder until they divorced back in 2001. "I was so young," Nicole said of her first marriage. “There is something about that sort of existence that, if you really focus on each other and you’re in that bubble, it’s very intoxicating, because it’s just the two of you. And there is only one other person that’s going through it," She said, adding, "It brings you very close, and it’s deeply romantic. I’m sure Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have that — because there’s nobody else that understands it except that person who’s sleeping right next to you.”
Nicole also referenced her current marriage to Australian singer Keith Urban, “And you know, with no disrespect to what I had with Tom, I’ve met my great love now." The couple have two children, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret. Nicole left Hollywood behind to move with Keith to Nashville so he could focus on his country music career. She said of her move, "You can have a certain career, but you can’t be living in Hollywood, [where] absolutely everything, everything revolves around it. That wasn’t my choice. I’d rather revolve around somebody else’s career and then still find my own."
Interestingly enough, Keith also opened up about his romance with Nicole this week, revealing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that he and his actress wife occasionally exchange sexts. "Maybe one text," he said. "Maybe one cool kind of . . . you know . . . a year. One of those kind of texts." Watch Keith's adorable interview below.
While Nicole appears to be in marital bliss now, the actress revealed that she hit a "low point" while filming The Hours during the same time she was going through a divorce with Tom. While filming Virginia Woolf's suicide scene, Nicole had a revelation, “Walking into the river with those stones in my pockets — I chose life. At the time, I was at a low point, and by playing her, it put me into a place of appreciating life.” Nicole's emotion came through as she went on to win the Oscar for best actress for her role in the film.
Olivia Wilde and her fiancé, Jason Sudeikis, are expecting their first child together! The two first met in 2011, and the pair got engaged this past January. In April, Olivia opened up about kids in an interview with Marie Claire, saying, "We've discussed all our ideals and hopes. I can't wait for children. I'm open-minded about how many, but three, which I love, is like a little party." Congratulations to the couple!
After a Brazilian model claimed that she was romancing Leonardo DiCaprio, the actor publicly put those rumors to rest when he attended Giorgio Armani's One Night Only event in NYC yesterday with model Toni Garrn. While the two didn't pose for pictures at the event (Leo was busy with his Wolf of Wall Street director Martin Scorsese), this is the first red carpet event that Leo and Toni have attended together. Of course, Leo and Toni weren't the only stars at the event, as Renée Zellweger, Dianna Agron, Naomi Watts, and Hilary Swank all dropped by the fashionable fete.
Earlier this month, a model named Kat Torres told Brazilian reporters that she was secretly dating Leo and that the two had been carrying on a relationship ever since meeting in Cannes. The only problem was that Leo has been dating Toni since the Spring and there was no evidence that he had been dating Kat. Indeed, a report came out last week that Leo and Toni are still going strong and that not only was Leo not dating Kat, but he had only met her once while hanging out with Toni.
David Beckham couldn't help but wrap his arm around his gorgeous wife, Victoria Beckham, at a dinner to celebrate the CFDA and Vogue Fashion Fund finalists in LA on Wednesday. Earlier that day, Victoria and David popped up at a lunch for the finalists and rubbed shoulders with Lena Dunham, Lea Michele, Lily Collins, and Fifty Shades of Grey star Dakota Johnson. Yesterday, Victoria took a break from all the fashion fund to get in some reading. She shared a snap of The Richard Burton Diaries on her Twitter account on Thursday, writing, "Excited to read this in the LA sunshine."
Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom have separated after three years of marriage, E! Online reports. Orlando's rep confirmed the sad news in a joint statement, saying, "Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr have announced that they have been amicably separated for the past few months," adding, "After six years together, they have recently decided to formalize their separation."
Orlando and Miranda began dating in 2007 and tied the knot in July 2010. Their son, Flynn, was born the following year. The family has been living in NYC while Orlando stars in the Broadway production of Romeo and Juliet. He and Miranda made their last public appearance together on the show's opening night in September but were spotted out together in Manhattan earlier this month. Miranda also opened up about Orlando's onstage role in November's issue of Cosmopolitan, saying, "For someone to be able to learn all that and hold the energy to do it every day, six days a week — I have so much respect for him."
Kelly Clarkson married Brandon Blackstock in a small ceremony in Blackberry Farms, TN, on Sunday. Kelly, who wore a Temperley London gown for the big day, confirmed the news via social media, tweeting, "I'm officially Mrs. Blackstock :) We got married yesterday at Blackberry Farms in TN, the most beautiful place ever!" Wedding buzz began last week when Kelly told Access Hollywood that she and Brandon would be getting married "really soon." Days later, it was reported that the couple had obtained a marriage license in Sumner County, TN, just north of Nashville.
Kelly and her fiancé dated for a year before getting engaged, and since Brandon proposed in December 2012, Kelly has made no bones about her plans to tie the knot as soon as possible. Though the singer began planning a backyard wedding earlier this year, she then "got so overwhelmed by it — all the decisions" and decided to elope instead, explaining, "We would rather have an intimate moment that's special." And after the wedding? "I want babies, like, right off the bat!" Kelly revealed in an interview earlier this month, adding, "I already told him that when we're past the wedding, I want a baby."
Congrats to Kelly and Brandon!
Anne Hathaway, Rachel Zoe, and Kate Beckinsale hit the red carpet for LA retailer Elyse Walker's annual Pink Party in Santa Monica, CA, on Saturday night. Anne, who hosted the event, looked stunning in a short pink J. Mendel dress and flashed her megawatt smile while posing for photos — meanwhile, her fashion stylist Rachel showed off her growing baby bump in a light-colored gown alongside husband Rodger Berman. Another star who made the soiree a family affair was Kate, who arrived with filmmaker hubby Len Wiseman and 14-year-old daughter Lily Sheen. Actresses Mario Bello and Paz Vega and model Poppy Delevingne were also among the stars in attendance.
It's been a while since we've seen Anne out and about, and she's kept a pretty low profile since attending the Met Gala back in May. The Oscar-winning actress recently began filming the Christopher Nolan sci-fi thriller Interstellar with Jessica Chastain and Matthew McConaughey and has likely been spending her downtime with husband Adam Shulman — the couple celebrated their first wedding anniversary late last month.
Matt Damon and his wife, Luciana, were dressed in sleek black ensembles for the Environmental Media Awards in LA on Saturday night. The couple stayed close as they walked the green carpet into Warner Bros. Studios for the event, which also brought out EMA futures award winner Hayden Panettiere and Glee star Darren Criss, who performed on stage during the ceremony. Matt was on hand to accept the ongoing commitment award for his environmental work over the years. The actor is a cofounder of Water.org and has promoted access to safe water and sanitation around the world. He also garnered praise from the industry when he starred in the 2012 film Promised Land, which highlighted the resource extraction process known as fracking. Luciana wasn't the only familiar face to show support for Matt — his Behind the Candelabra and The Informant! costar Scott Bakula was also there to cheer him on during his big night.
It was a star-studded night at the Dallas Buyers Club premiere in LA last night. Jennifer Garner and Jared Leto were both flying solo, while Matthew McConaughey brought along his wife, Camila Alves. The film has been picking up steam since it debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival last month, though it's not set to hit theaters until Nov. 1. Even ahead of the film's release date, it has been attracting plenty of buzz for its transformative and brilliant performances. Jared Leto morphs himself into the transgendered business partner of Tom Woodroof, played by McConaughey, and Matthew dropped 50 pounds to play the Texan AIDS patient. Jennifer Garner also joins the film as a doctor. See all the pictures from the premiere event!
