Kate Middleton joined Prince William and other British dignitaries including the queen at tonight's 2012 Paralympics opening ceremony in London. It's been two weeks since the Summer Olympic Games came to a close, and now the royals are welcoming a new crop of athletes from around the globe. Kate stepped out in a shimmery gold coat for the celebration and cheered on the performers while seated next to William, Princess Anne, and London Mayor Boris Johnson. Noticeably absent from the public event was Prince Harry, who is currently dealing with the fallout from his nude photo scandal.
