Lady GaGa looks gorgeous wearing nude lingerie and a black one-piece in her photo shoot and cover for Cosmopolitan UK's May issue. The singer has been hitting the headlines this week, being knocked off the number one spot in the singles chart, and being revealed as one of the acts to perform at Lollapalooza Festival in Chicago in August. Elton John has also given his support to GaGa singing the next James Bond theme, adding he'd love to do a duet. It wasn't always so rosy for GaGa, however, and she chatted with Cosmo UK about struggling to fit in at school, living in the spotlight, and giving her fans an identity. Here are the highlights:
- On her all-girls private school: "I had a very big nose, very curly brown hair and I was overweight. I got made fun of."
- On her life being in the spotlight: "My friends joke that I'm dead until I get on stage."
- On completing the following statement: 'In 20 years, I hope people will say, Lady Gaga...':: "changed my life, and her music gave me an identity when I didn't belong."
The full interview appears in the May issue of Cosmopolitan UK, on sale Thursday 8th April.
