Loads of stars dressed up in awesome costumes for Halloween in 2009! It was a fancy dress fest, from grown ups enjoying evening fun like Alexa and Agyness, Kelly and Luke, and Twilight's Kellan and Ashley, to families trick-or-treating like Christina. Check out my sideshow to see all of the other outfits too, from the Stefani-Rossdales to Gossip Girl stars!
Take That's tour along with original member Robbie Williams broke records when they sold over one million tickets in 24 hours yesterday, having to add several extra dates to keep up with demand. Their concert promoter SJM Concerts apologised to fans after they had hours of trouble trying to get tickets for the Progress Live tour which will take place next summer in the UK and Europe. Yesterday Ticketmaster said that they "alone have so far received over 20m page views from visitors arriving on the site, far in excess of that experienced for Michael Jackson last March. The sheer volume of fans also created problems for the UK telephone network." The band stated:
"We are speechless, truly and utterly shocked. This is the most amazing news for all of us. To sell one million tickets in a day is mind blowing and we think we'll be in shock for a few days! We want to thank everyone who has bought tickets today and look forward to seeing them next year."
Did you try and succeed to get tickets yesterday?
Zach Galifianakis toted his adorable French Bulldog costar on the Due Date premiere red carpet in LA this week. The twosome posed with director Todd Phillips, Michelle Monaghan, and Robert Downey Jr. on their way in to show off the buddy comedy. It's Todd's highly anticipated followup to The Hangover, and the crew from that movie, which also includes Zach, recently reunited to start shooting the sequel. There's already been a bit of controversy surrounding The Hangover 2, and Mel Gibson is reportedly furious over losing his cameo, which was given to Liam Neeson instead. Zach was rumored to be adamantly opposed to Gibson's appearance, and the comedic actor has more clout than ever these days. He recently signed on for The Muppet Movie, and his fantastic TV series, Bored to Death, was renewed for a third season. RDJ, meanwhile, has been in London getting to work on the Sherlock Holmes followup alongside Jude Law and Guy Ritchie.

Colin Farrell may not be the first guy who comes to mind when it comes to romantic leading men, but then again, London Boulevard is far from your typical love story. Farrell stars as Mitchell, an ex-con who's hired to protect an actress (Keira Knightley). The two naturally get involved with each other (is anyone else reminded of The Bodyguard?), but a mafia boss complicates matters when he ensnares Mitchell in his dirty-handed business.
I'm hopeful that Farrell and Knightley's chemistry will keep this film from feeling like just another bad-guy-trying-to-go-straight story. Also to its credit: William Monahan, who wrote The Departed, is directing. The film is due out next year, but take a look at the trailer when you read more
