Jennifer Lawrence looked every bit the brunette bombshell as she arrived at David Letterman's studio for an interview, which will air during today's Late Night With David Letterman in NYC. She has been training hard to take on the role of Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games series, which meant missing the premiere of her new movie The Beaver at the Cannes Film Festival this week. We got our first look as Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen in this week's EW, where the actress revealed her excitement over landing the role in the highly-anticipated book adaptation. For the past few weeks, she's apparently been working hard on her archery and stunt skills to take on the many fight scenes in the arena. They're almost done putting together the complete The Hunger Games cast, though we're still waiting on who will be Cinna. Jennifer will probably have a few breaks from preparations to help promote X-Men: First Class, which means more peeks at her transformation for fans of THG.

Today's amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala in Antibes drew a glamorous crowd of stars. The event, held during the nearby Cannes Film Festival, was attended by judging panel members Jude Law and Uma Thurman, as well as celebrities from the worlds of music and fashion. Kanye West, Gwen Stefani, Gavin Rossdale, and Janet Jackson were some of the recording artists who made their way down the white carpet. Supermodels Doutzen Kroes, Bar Refaeli, and Naomi Campbell joined designers like Karl Lagerfeld and amfAR chair Kenneth Cole at the fundraiser. This evening's swanky fête was one of several that have taken place during the annual cinema celebration. Earlier this week, a Chopard soirée drew many of the same famous faces, including Bar and Jude. Since the festival first kicked off on May 11, the stars have been keeping busy on the gala circuit, relaxing on the water on board mega yachts owned by the likes of Steven Spielberg and Microsoft's Paul Allen, and walking the red carpets at movie premieres like Brad Pitt's The Tree of Life, which debuted on Monday.

The CW held its upfronts in NYC today, and the network announced it's adding six shows to its Fall lineup with stars like Sarah Michelle Gellar and Rachel Bilson. The programs include SMG's Ringer, which will air Tuesdays with 90210. Rachel, who shared a hug with costar Jaime King, was all smiles due to the success of her latest Josh Schwartz endeavor, Hart of Dixie. She shuttled between LA and North Carolina to shoot the pilot earlier this year and has lately kept the frequent flying miles coming between jaunts to France to work with Chanel's Karl Lagerfeld. The Vampire Diaries stars Nina Dobrev, Ian Somerhalder, and Paul Wesley were all in attendance to receive the news that their popular vampire series has been renewed. 90210 castmates AnnaLynne McCord, Shenae Grimes, and Tristan Wilds were in for similar celebrations. Another of the CW's hits, Gossip Girl, wrapped up this week with a dramatic season finale, though only newcomer Kaylee DeFer was on hand for this morning's press event.

The many muses of Woody Allen gathered for a photo spread in the June issue of W, which features Larry Crowne duo Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts on the cover and hits newsstands on the 24th. Woody is gearing up for the release of his latest big-screen effort, Midnight in Paris, tomorrow. He's jetted around the world for premieres with the film's stars Owen Wilson and Rachel McAdams. Michael Sheen, who spoke about real-life girlfriend Rachel at last night's LA screening, has also been part of their entourage. Rachel is the latest leading lady to win the cinematic heart of Woody. Others, like Vicky Cristina Barcelona's Penelope Cruz and You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger's Naomi Watts, also paid tribute to the filmmaker in the issue. Penelope had nothing but kind words for Woody. She said, "I love a lot of things about Woody, but I really love his honesty and that there is no social bullsh*t. He only talks to you about what he thinks is important."

Jon Hamm joined his Mad Men costars Kiernan Shipka and Elisabeth Moss for a TV academy screening hosted by AMC in LA last night. John Slattery was on hand along with the show's creator, Matthew Weiner, who revealed that he already has an idea of how Mad Men will ultimately end despite their having a contract for three more seasons. Absent from the event were leading ladies Christina Hendricks and Allure cover girl and X-Men: First Class star January Jones. Jon made it to the stage following a trip to Cannes, where he partied with longtime girlfriend Jennifer Westfeldt at the Paradis charity bash during the city's film festival. Jon also has been celebrating the success of his comedy Bridesmaids, which landed in second place at the box office on its opening weekend.

Bar Refaeli had her third night in a row out on the town yesterday when she stepped out to celebrate the opening of Roberto Cavalli's new Cannes boutique. The designer, who recently hosted bikini-clad Elisabetta Canalis on his yacht, gathered famous friends for drinks and dinner on the vessel following a small shindig at the store. Elisabetta was also on hand to toast Roberto, as were Brooke Shields and Rosario Dawson. Bar kept the fun going by hitting an afterparty at the Martinez Hotel, where she met up with her fellow models Irina Shayk and Alessandra Ambrosio. The evening wrapped up with a tweet from Bar that said, "Nothin' better than taking my makeup off, shower, pajamas, bed and book!" She needs the sleep between her whirlwind film festival schedule that has included hitting the red carpet at The Beaver premiere, a bash on Paul Allen's big boat, and attending a Chopard party with Jude Law and Naomi Campbell. Bar's not slowing down in the wake of her split from ex Leonardo DiCaprio, who was spotted with Blake Lively sparking rumors of romance. Today, Bar was back to having fun and she shared a photo of herself lounging on a yacht in a mismatched bikini.
