Olivia Wilde stepped out last night in LA for the Nylon August issue launch party on the Mondrian hotel's pool deck. Olivia is home in the City of Angels after joining her costars Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford at the Comic-Con premiere of Cowboys & Aliens in San Diego last week. The actress debuted new bangs as she played host for the bash, which also brought out Paris and Nicky Hilton. Olivia is the magazine's current cover girl and opens up about her recent divorce in the accompanying interview. The newly single Olivia told Nylon she self-medicated with food after her split, joking that it was a better choice than crack cocaine, and also admitted that she's still trying to figure out the dating scene.

Miranda Kerr was in red lace today for a photo call at a David Jones department store in Sydney. The model mom is in her home country of Australia to work with the retailer, and this afternoon's event was held to announce that they'll have 60 new brands in their shops including the Victoria Beckham Collection and the Kardashian Kollection. Miranda and her son Flynn arrived Down Under just yesterday, and now she has a month of modeling work to come. Next week will feature a runway show starring Miranda, and she has more in-store appearances lined up for the end of August. The getaway is Flynn's first visit to the continent to meet with all his Kerr relatives. Miranda, meanwhile, is excited to be there. She recently tweeted, "Just wrapped day one for [David Jones] — so excited about the amazing new season fashion. Great to be home!" Miranda also spoke about her son's charm to reporters. She said, "He's got a really good nature, he's very warm and engaging and he's a little flirt."

David Beckham joined the MLS All-Stars last night to take on his old team, Manchester United, at New Jersey's Red Bull Arena just outside NYC. There were plenty of stars in attendance to watch as David's squad faced off against the visiting Brits, including Ethan Hawke, Jessica Szohr, and Gerard Butler. Despite the support for the MLS players, Manchester beat the All-Stars with a final score of 4-0. David, nonetheless, gave the match his all, trying to get no less than three goals in but having each effort blocked. He was the only player allowed to decide how much time he'd spend on the field, even wearing the captain's armband for the game! David said of playing against Manchester, "The problem is with me, it doesn’t matter how old I am, once I am on the field, I don’t want to come off, and I’ll always be like that."
