European Cosmetic Animal Testing Ban

The European Union Prepared to Ban Animal Testing on Cosmetics

Amazing news in the beauty world has broken today from the European Union, as they finally reveal that they are set to ban animal testing on cosmetics. Not only that, but the EU also won't be allowed to sell any cosmetics from other countries that have tested on animals. There is an alternative testing deadline of March 11th, at which time companies must present their plans, and the anti-animal testing ban will hopefully be enforced.

Paul McGreevy, the International Values Director for The Body Shop said, "This great achievement in Europe is only the closure of one chapter. The future of beauty must be cruelty-free." I am so happy to be reporting this news. How does this potential ban make you feel?
