Helena Bonham Carter has hit back about criticism of her Golden Globes attire. The actress wore a Vivienne Westwood dress with two different coloured shoes to the event which landed her in some worst dressed lists. She commented, "Fashion is all about having fun. I think fashion has been hijacked by the fashion industry creating rules on what one should wear and I feel like breaking the mold and seeing that the world won’t crumble."
Helena always works her own unique looks on the red carpet and has never been one to conform. However, at the Golden Globes, it seemed to be her mismatched shoes which caused the most comments. She said, "Why not wear mismatching shoes? Who says we can’t? I was just having fun. For me, fashion is all about fantasy and putting unlikely things together. That’s what I love. I genuinely love dressing up." Do you agree with her comments, or are you still unimpressed by her red carpet choices?
