New Season Mulberry Bags

I am a long term fan of Mulberry handbags. They create classic bags which have timeless appeal, yet also manage to create new designs every season that I "must have." This Autumn is no exception as creative director Emma Hill has taken influence from "mean teens." The accessories line is brightly coloured as the logo becomes the focus of attention. They're patent leather which means they look brand new for a long time and are quite hard wearing. I am particularly in love with the Daria hobo in emerald (£650) and the Daria clutch in cerise (£325). What do you think of the new collection?

I have to agree tototee and BigD. The whole thing about Mulberry is that they're classic and stylish without being overly 'fashiony' and branded. It really does just look tacky.

I'm shocked. When I first saw these without reading "Mulberry" I thought they were from the hideous Mischa Barton collection. I can't believe Mulberry would cheapify itself like this. So tacky.

I agree with both of the above. I bought a Mulberry precisely because it's a good quality bag without a huge logo on it. As much as I like the style of these bags I would never carry one because of the huge logo on them.

There too branded.. The great thing about Mulberry is they were one of the only company that do great bags for the sake of design.. not for selling they're brand... now the bags just look tacky. It works ok on the orange clutch or purse.. but on the others it's just there to show it off.
