Love It or Hate It: Miley Cyrus at Much Music Video Awards

Miley Cyrus performed at the 2010 Much Music Video Awards over the weekend in Toronto in this sporty ensemble. The pop star revealed a lot of flesh in a cut out leotard, wetlook shorts and Alexander Wang lace up boots. The scarf tied through her hair and the chunky gold earrings give her an '80s Madonna vibe. Do you like this look on Miley?

I honestly don't understand how these teenage girls feel such a need to break free from their childhood through such a drastic sexual revolution. Surely, I understand how they want to be seen as (young) adults and be taken seriously, but is it truly necessary to express this need and lose all dignity in the process? There are classier ways to do that, like Dakota Fanning is doing for instance.
