Matthew Morrison is still in town promoting Glee and yesterday he took some time out to go to the pub with Kelly Brook and some friends to watch the England v Slovenia match. Kelly's been out a couple of times in the last couple of days, just after it was reported she and Danny Cipriani had split. Kelly and Matthew were spotted out for dinner last week, but he told GMTV they are just friends, saying:
"It is a nightmare. I just feel bad for those other people because I don't want to drag anyone else into it. I'm friendly with a lot of people and just going to dinner with someone turns into [something else]."
Diane von Furstenberg was surrounded by famous faces at her launch party at Claridge's last night. Victoria Beckham wore thigh-high boots as she continued her Summer in London. She'll have to wait a bit longer for David to join her, following England's win in South Africa yesterday. Gwyneth Paltrow and Madonna stayed close, giving further proof they're still friends. The fashionable crowd might have toasted to Gwyneth's good news, as she's landed a role opposite Bradley Cooper and Bruce Willis in M. Night Shyamalan's new project.

We did it! England beat Slovenia 1 - 0 last night in a much better performance than we've seen from the boys since they got out to South Africa for the World Cup. Whether it was wearing red that fired them up or the fact that this was their last chance to make it through, Jermain Defoe scored and kept us in the running. After their preparations this week, David Beckham looked nervous throughout, brightening up considerably when Defoe scored, and celebrating with the players on the pitch after the final whistle blew.
Steven Gerrard looked very pleased with the team's win, following our draws against the USA and Algeria, despite royal support. We were treated to a shirtless Joe Cole, meanwhile Wayne Rooney got a big hug from Fabio Capello, as well as a pat on the head from David. Wayne said he will be fit to play the next match despite reports he was limping. The USA also won their match which puts them at the top of the group, meanwhile we came in second which means we'll be playing Germany on Sunday.

Robert Pattinson filmed a scene with his eponymous costar on the Water For Elephants set in California yesterday. He spent the day inside a big top before emerging in the evening to shoot with his favourite Tai. While his Eclipse costars have been busy promoting the movie in Europe, Rob has been hard at work on set. His attention will turn back to the Twilight saga tonight, however, when he joins the whole gang at the LA premiere. Kristen Stewart has had red carpet practice solo and with Taylor Lautner, but I can't wait to see her and Rob reunited!
Kristen Stewart was back in LA last night for the premiere of Love Ranch. She's been on a promotional tour of Europe with Taylor Lautner for Eclipse, visiting Italy, Germany and Sweden, but now the whole Twilight gang are back on the West Coast for their big premiere tonight!
