Finest Film Folk At Empire's Drinks

Mar 10, 2008 - After the Empire Film Awards ceremony there was an official drinks reception for the winners and guests, where we spotted a few more faces. Agyness Deyn (don't you love her outfit?), Jaime Winstone, Alfie Allen and Chiwetel Ejiofor showed up, as well as husbands, boyfriends, wives, and girlfriends (including Matt's pregnant Luciana) who had escaped red carpet duties, and no doubt a few who attended the Olivier Awards (also in Grosvenor House!) instead. Stars Shine At The Empire Awards

Mar 10, 2008 - The Empire Film Awards ceremony was held last night at Grosvenor House, and some top quality stars were there to pick up gongs as well as announce the winners. Matt Damon was there to pick up Best Film for The Bourne Ultimatum, Ewan McGregor picked up the Empire Icon award, and Sam Riley took Best Newcomer for his performance in the excellent Control (which also took Best Soundtrack). James McAvoy also finally got his hands on a well-deserved Best Actor trophy, his costar Keira didn't show up but received Best Actress anyway, and Atonement won Best British Film. - 1 Comment
