So, we all know that us Europeans are a little eccentric, but I'm always surprised by the absolute insanity of Eurovision. This year was no exception, with performers peeking through washing lines, rockers straight out of Guitar Hero (we love you Finland), pirates, way too may fringed dresses and Terry Wogan's increasingly annoyed bumbling narration reaching our Brit ears. Thank goodness the Turkey was ousted in the semi-finals...

Noel Gallagher looked amused and confused as he left the Met Bar with his partner Sara MacDonald last night and it may well be he'd just heard that Andy Abraham thinks Oasis should enter the Eurovision Song Contest! It may sound rather far-fetched, but in 1998 rumours suggested Noel wanted the single "All Around The World" to be entered in the competition. You're not too hopeful about the UK's chances in this year's Eurovision Song Contest, but what do you think about Ireland's entry? ICYMI, Ireland will be represented by Dustin the Turkey, a glove-puppet from a children's TV show. Really.

So the public have voted X Factor runner-up Andy Abraham as the UK entry for this year's Eurovision Song Contest. If you missed Saturday's show, you can watch Andy's performance below.
We gave a dismal showing in last year's competition when Scooch came 22nd out of 24, so I wonder how Andy will fare this year.
