Katy and Co. Give Us an Amazing MTV EMA Show
After the women and men arrived on the red carpet for the MTV EMAs they all took their seats for the ceremony. Green Day kicked off the show and then Katy Perry did an awesome medley of the Best Song nominees. The show was full of great performances, like Beyonce in red suspenders, Jay-Z's amazing NYC backdrop, Foo Fighters rocking out and Shakira showing off her drumming.
MTV EMAs 2009 — The Winners!
Beyonce was the big winner at the MTV EMAs tonight, picking up three awards including Best Female! Placebo, Tokio Hotel, U2, Pixie Lott and Green Day were also among the winners at the ceremony in Berlin — check out the full list after the jump!

Guys & Guyliner at the MTV EMAs 2009!
It isn't all glamorous ladies in attendance at the MTV EMAs in Berlin tonight, there are plenty of dashing gents too! Pete Wentz is hosting backstage this year and is rocking some very unique eye makeup, plus there's Tokio Hotel's Bill Kaulitz and Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong rocking the look! Backstreet Boys, Jonas Brothers and Foo Fighters were among those sans eye makeup on the red carpet — check out all the men arriving!
Women Go Dark and Pale On MTV EMAs Red Carpet
The women were looking gorgeous as they took to the red carpet at the MTV EMAs this evening. Brits Pixie Lott and Leona Lewis went for black outfits, with Pixie choosing a classic LBD and Leona going for an edgier choice of harem trousers. Lil Kim made a bold statement with her outfit, while Juliette Lewis was classic rock chick in her leather.
Stars Are Taking to the Red Carpet at MTV EMAs!
Host for the night Katy Perry has started the red carpet parade at the MTV EMAs in Berlin! She was joined by digital host Pete Wentz, red carpet host Joss Stone, Juliette Lewis and MTV presenters Rickie Haywood Williams, Laura Whitmore and Melvin Odoom. Voting has started on FabUK and BellaUK's love it or hate it polls, so tell us what you think of the outfits and stay tuned for more coverage!
Katy Perry and Sugar UK Prepare for Tonight's MTV EMAs!
MTV EMA host Katy Perry posed with Pete Wentz and Joss Stone at a press conference yesterday ahead of the MTV Europe Music Awards at the O2 Arena in Berlin tonight, which airs on MTV at 9pm. Pete is taking on digital hosting duties, while Joss will be presenting the red carpet online at 8pm. Acts performing include Beyonce, Jay-Z, Leona Lewis, Shakira, Green Day, Foo Fighters and Tokio Hotel, and presenters include Brody Jenner, Bar Refaeli, Backstreet Boys, Jonas Brothers and more.
Jay-Z and Robbie Williams To Perform at the 2009 MTV EMAs!
The MTV Europe Music Awards are fast approaching, with hostess Katy Perry gearing up to present the show on November 5. More details of what we can expect from the ceremony were released today, as both Jay-Z and Robbie Williams have been announced to perform on the night! They join the previously announced performers, including Shakira, Green Day and Leona Lewis, in what's shaping up to be a must-see show.
Pixie Lott Named MTV EMA's Best UK and Ireland Act
Pixie Lott has won the MTV Europe Music Award title of Best UK & Ireland New Act, and will now compete against the other 21 artists to be crowned Best European Act at the ceremony in Berlin on 5 November. Pixie beat Florence & The Machine, La Roux, The Saturdays and Tinchy Stryder to win the title, and although the majority of you would have preferred to see Florence & The Machine win, let's keep our fingers crossed Pixie will make it into the shortlist of five and ultimately reign supreme in the European category. I'm already getting excited to find out who will win and to see Katy Perry host the show, what about you?
