Cristiano Ronaldo had lunch at Da Silvano Restaurant in NYC yesterday. Following his surprising revelation over the weekend that he has a baby son, speculation has begun about the child's mother. Cristiano's boy is under his exclusive guardianship, leading to suggestions he paid an American surrogate to carry the child. There are also claims the mother could be a Danish heiress he met in Madrid. His sister has said the baby has made her brother "very happy". He was reportedly born on 17 June and weighed 9lbs 8oz. Becoming a father has given Cristiano an even greater interest in the rights of all children. He has signed up for for the 1GOAL Squad, which he describes on his Facebook page as "a team of footballers and fans united this World Cup for the greatest goal of all: Education for every child".
Cristiano Ronaldo announed he is a father on his Facebook page:
"It is with great joy and emotion that I inform I have recently become father to a baby boy. As agreed with the baby's mother, who prefers to have her identity kept confidential, my son will be under my exclusive guardianship."
Following the weekend revelation on Cristiano's social networking pages, including his Twitter, his agent confirmed the news. It has been reported that Crisitano's mother and sisters are dealing with the paperwork so the child can be brought to his home country of Portugal. Congratulations to the new father!
Christine Bleakley and Frank Lampard shared lots of smooches on holiday in Sardinia yesterday. Christine swapped her red two-piece for a stripy bikini, while Frank continued the shirtless good times. The couple are enjoying the sun with the Redknapps, and have been happy to engage in several PDA-fests. Jamie and Louise have also sunbathed in their swimwear. Following England's World Cup disappointment, the players are finding solace with their loved ones. Christine is also taking time out from her headline-hitting career.

Frank Lampard and Christine Bleakley continued their holiday with the Redknapps in Sardinia yesterday. After sharing kisses earlier in the day, Christine stripped down to her bikini and joined Louise on the sun loungers. Frank got shirtless with Jamie, and the footballers splashed around in the pool. The Redknapps arrived at the weekend, and enjoyed some alone time before hanging out with one of the UK's hottest new couples. Frank stripped off with his England teammates on the pitch, but now the World Cup is over for our lads he can keep the bare torso fun going on holiday. The Rooneys have jetted off to sunnier shores too.

The couple have joined Jamie and Louise Redknapp, who enjoyed bikini and shirtless fun earlier this week. With Louise in the running to take over from Christine on The One Show, they'll have plenty to talk about! Frank will be keen to take his mind off England's defeat in the World Cup, and kisses from Christine look like the distraction he needs. Christine sparked rumours by wearing a ring of her left hand as she left the UK, but her rep denied they're engaged.
