Yesterday in London, Rihanna was spotted leaving her hotel wearing bright blue sunglasses, a blue overcoat and grey suede pointed court shoes that she paired with a blue stripey pants and shirt from the Acne men's Spring/Summer 2013 collection. Styled with 50s retro fringe and matching red lips and nails, Rihanna looks a little bit like a fashionable sailor. Get Complementary in Orange and Blue

Last night in London, models Poppy Delevingne and Laura Jackson both teamed orange and blue separates for the Warner Music Group Pre-Olympics Party at Tate Modern. The month before, British actress Michelle Ryan also went for the complementary colours but wore them all in a dress at the Hampton Court Palace Festival. The colours sit opposite each other on the colour wheel and make for a fab combination, especially in the Summer months. Kate Middleton Perfects Summer Style in Bright Blue Stella McCartney Dress

Today in London, Kate Middleton attended an Olympics exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery in a stunning Stella McCartney Crepe Dress (£515). The bright blue shade is a departure from the Duchess of Cambridge's more usual pastel palette and captures the Summer spirit perfectly. On Tuesday in New York, Blake Lively wore a Marc by Marc Jacobs silk number in the same colour on the set of Gossip Girl, while earlier this month Welsh singer Katherine Jenkins donned a similarly hued maxi for the Arqiva Commercial Radio Awards in London. Shop my picks below and tell me what you think of the bright blue trend!
Nail the Blues With Polishes From Cobalt to Sapphire

This week at Cannes Film Festival, British model Lily Cole captured my attention with her Ciaté Skinny Jeans (£8.50) nails while promoting Confession of a Child of the Century. Just days before in London, Topshop heiress Chloe Green combined initials with a baby blue shade for her CJG shoes launch, while Kristen Stewart wore sky blue nails for her Snow White and the Huntsman UK premiere. It was a big trend last Autumn and shows no sign of stopping through Spring and Summer. Shop my picks below and tell me your favourite shade!
Which Royal Blue Dress Looks Best on The Royal Duchess?

Kate Middleton donned a royal blue Reiss suit-dress for her first ever public speech at the East Anglia Children's Hospice yesterday. Not only was the Duchess of Cambridge's double breasted look from the label's 2008 collection, but her mother Carole was seen wearing it first, back in April of 2010. Kate is certainly a fan of this colour, having worn an Issa wrap dress in a similar shade for her engagement announcement in November 2010 and a pleated Issa number at a friend's wedding the month before. Out of these three styles, which is your favourite royal blue dress?
The Hottest Nail Colour For Fall

Nail the blues trend this season by picking up a sky, seafoam, navy, or metallic nail varnish for Autumn. Celebrities like Alessandra Ambrosio, Whitney Port, and Eva Longoria are painting their dainty digits a blue hue, too. If none of the choices below strike your fancy, then get excited (and you might want to also get on the waiting list) for Les Jeans de Chanel, a trio of polishes in Blue Rebel, Blue Boy, and Coco Blue sold for £17.50 each in Chanel Boutiques as of Thursday. What blue colour do you think is the most wearable?
Trend Alert: Aquamarine Dresses

Last night was a banner day across the globe for the turquoise dress. This bright and cheerful Spring shade looks amazing on all skin tones and really makes you stand out in a crowd. Blake Lively wore her long seafoam coloured dress to the Time Magazine Most Influential People in the World Party, whilst Dania Ramirez attended the US Weekly Hot Hollywood event in LA donning a shorter satin version. Jane Seymour was here in London and stopped traffic in front of Buckingham Palace in her bright aqua cocktail frock. I absolutely love this colour and felt inspired to pick out a slew of dresses for you to shop below. Check them out, and let me know which one you like best!
Trend Alert: Royal Blue Beauty Products

With days to go until the royal wedding, celebrities like Jennifer Hudson, Alexa Chung, and Lauren Conrad (those are her cool ombrè nails) have drawn their inspiration from royal blue beauty products to get in the spirit of things. Jennifer wore electric blue shadow and liner whilst in London last week, and Alexa was spotted at the Coachella Music Festival wearing blue nail polish. LC used her graduated blue nails as one of her first posts on her new beauty site, and it's got me looking for wearable blue shades. Check out some of my blue beauty finds below, and let me know which products you like most.
Celeb Style: Jennifer Hudson
Last night in central London, Jennifer Hudson stepped out of her hotel looking chic and casual for the unusually warm evening. The Oscar-winning actress and singer wore a pair of denim cutoffs paired with an asymmetrical black blazer, python Christian Louboutin booties, a silky grey t-shirt, and long, beaded earrings. I also love her use of royal blue eyeshadow that she picked up from the lining of her jacket. Shop her style, and let me know what you think of her cool ensemble.
Moody Blues at Paris Fashion Week
Paris Fashion Week is typically filled with avant garde beauty styles as the French tend to work runway makeup in a classy way, focusing on one part of the face, whist keeping things modern with just enough edge. Unlike London and New York which is often intended to shock, the one out of the box makeup style I've noticed this week in Paris is true blue eye looks.
At Aganovich, eyes were lined in an aquamarine pencil. At Zac Posen, blue shadows were layered on a clean-looking face, and at Steffie Christiaens blue eyes were the focus of the beauty look paired with a pale face. I like this demonstration of blue, as all of these styles seem quite wearable on and off the runway. Would you consider sporting blue eye makeup?
