Gwyneth Paltrow, Viola Davis, and Selena Gomez were among those who stepped out for last night's Women in Film pre-Oscar event held at Cecconi's restaurant in LA with the support of MAC and Perrier-Jouët. Wearing a deep-V-necked Boy. by Band of Outsiders jumpsuit, Gwyneth, who's a presenter at tomorrow's show, made the rounds with her mother Blythe Danner. Viola had her The Help costars Jessica Chastain, in Elie Saab, and Octavia Spencer on hand to let off steam before tomorrow's Academy Awards. All three women are in the running for statues thanks to their work in the movie - make sure to fill out your Oscars ballot with your winner predictions and enter to win an iPad! Shailene Woodley, in the midst of an awesome award season thanks to her movie The Descendants, also made the rounds, along with Tibi-clad Vanessa Hudgens, and many more. Gwyneth Paltrow hosted a dinner for her nearest and dearest on Monday evening at her pal Julian Schnabel's immense NYC home, Palazzo Chupi. We had a look at her famous guests leaving the bash earlier this week, and now here are snaps from inside! Gwyneth gathered her brother Jake, mom Blythe Danner, and husband Chris Martin to celebrate her new cookbook My Father's Daughter along with Cameron Diaz, Jay-Z, and many more. She kept the promotional appearances coming with a stint on Good Morning America yesterday and today on The Early Show. Despite all the emphasis on her kitchen skills, Gwyneth makes sure to keep her balance with serious dedication to her workouts. She showed off her hard work with trainer Tracy Anderson by doing the cover of Self magazine's May issue in a bikini top, and in an accompanying interview she discussed how her kids are the best inspiration to stay healthy and fit.

Jessica Alba had more than her fair share of male company on the red carpet last night at the NYC premiere of Little Fockers with costars Owen Wilson, Ben Stiller, Robert De Niro, and Dustin Hoffman. She's a new addition to the franchise, which also consists of Meet the Parents and Meet the Fockers. It was a family affair for leading man Ben, as his parents, Jerry Stiller and Sex and the City's Anne Meara, joined him for the screening. Sexy lady Jessica, meanwhile, flaunted her brand-new short hair while posing with her husband, Cash Warren, who was evidently a big fan of her look. It was the latest press event for busy Owen, after he spent the last few weeks promoting How Do You Know with interviews and photo ops with Reese Witherspoon.

Rachel Bilson and Tom Sturridge attended a screening of their new movie Waiting For Forever in New York last night as part of the Gen Art Film Festival. Robert Pattinson's best Brit pal Tom and Rachel play two childhood friends, she an actress who returns home when her father gets sick, while he returns to their home town to see her again. I'm pretty intrigued by the cast, which also includes Nikki Blonsky, Blythe Danner and Jaime King. Rachel looked adorable in her unique dress, while Tom's scruffy look made his smart suit a little more casual. Do you think they make a cute onscreen couple?
