PopUK's May Must Haves!
It seems to be Robert Pattinson month as I have not only one, but two movies featuring him in my May Must Haves — one coming to DVD and the other to cinemas! I also have some fab music picks, a hilarious TV show that I class as a must-watch, and some cinema and DVD releases. Enjoy!
First Glance: Bride Wars — See It or Skip It?
Anne Hathaway and Kate Hudson have teamed up for the comedy movie Bride Wars, in which a pair of warring ex-best friends compete wildly to stage the most fantastic wedding after their ceremonies are unfortunately scheduled on the same day.
The trailer shows us pranks, arguments, girl-fights, luminous tans and bright blue hair, with both Bridezillas showing their comedic skills off to full extremes!
The movie will be out here in 2009, but for now check out the trailer below and let me know if you want to see this movie, or if you'll skip it.

2009 Teen Choice Awards: Arrivals and Winners!
The 2009 Teen Choice Awards took place yesterday in LA, with all the stars of the past year's charts, movies and TV shows turning up to be awarded by teens. The show is yet to air in both the US and UK, but Twilight took home a whole host of awards (check out the winners list under the cut for spoilers) as did Gossip Girl and the Jonas Brothers. Kristen Stewart looked like she was taking tips from Robert Pattinson with her big hair, and wore a seriously cool spiky skirt, while Leighton looked sexy in stripes!
Kate Dishes on Dating, Marriage and Honesty With Cosmo
Kate Hudson's been enjoying the sun, sea and sand in Maui with Australian golfer Adam Scott, but before she jetted off she chatted with Cosmopolitan about being single, dating, and getting married again. The Bride Wars actress also revealed how she spends her downtime, and how important honesty is. Here are highlights:
- On being single: "I’d always been the kind of girl who really loves being in a relationship – I don’t think I’ve been properly single since I was 17 – so it’s always where I’ve felt at my best.
