Britney Spears Makes a Triumphant Return to the Stage at Wango Tango

Britney Spears was back in fine form when she hosted the Wango Tango music festival in Carson, CA, yesterday. She was joined by her former kindred X Factor judge Demi Lovato as well as performers Avril Lavigne, Bruno Mars, and Maroon 5's Adam Levine. Britney wore a formfitting black dress as she took the stage to introduce the acts, marking her first onstage appearance since she left The X Factor back in January. While she didn't perform this time around, Britney fans will get a chance to see the singer perform live soon as she confirmed last week that she will be taking up a residency in Las Vegas. The concert series, which will reportedly be held at Planet Hollywood, will begin in the Fall. Preparing for Sin City isn't the only thing on Britney's mind — she recently tweeted that she is reading The Goddess Inheritance, a YA novel by Aimee Carter.

Revisit the 2012 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show!

The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show went down in NYC on Nov.

The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show went down in NYC on Nov. 8, with appearances from their most famous Angels, Miranda Kerr, Alessandra Ambrosio, and Adriana Lima — and all the airs Dec. 4 on CBS!

Miranda, Alessandra, and Adriana were joined by a handful of newcomers on the runway, including Cara Delevingne and Jessica Hart. The models strutted their stuff on the runway in six separate sections. Adriana opened the first portion, which had a "Circus" theme featuring acrobats and performers on mini Segways. Earlier in the day, Miranda Kerr told us backstage she was most excited for the circus bit. She said, "I'm amazed at what they can do with their bodies!"

The five following sections included "Dangerous Liaisons," "Calendar Girls," "Pink Is Us," "Silver Screen Angels," and "Angels in Bloom" motifs. There were a handful of memorable ensembles — Alessandra modeled the 2012 Fantasy Bra, covered in $2.5 million worth of gems, while Miranda donned a Swarovski-embellished corset. Doutzen Kroes seemed to be having a great time in a pink pom-pom ensemble, and Karlie Kloss was tasked with wearing a pair of target wings. Lily Aldridge, whose Kings of Leon rocker husband, Caleb Followill, was in the front row, took a turn down the runway in a patriotic flag skirt.

The front row was packed with celebrities. Vanessa Hudgens, Alexa Chung, and Lily's husband, Caleb, were on hand to cheer for their friends and witness the spectacle, as well as the performances. In addition to the Angels, Justin Bieber, Rihanna, and Bruno Mars took the stage. Justin performed two songs with a spirited group of backup dancers. It was Rihanna, though, who may have stolen the show. She closed out the final section, and it was hard to keep one's eyes off of her long enough to see the Angels take a final turn.

She wore a black Burberry dress for the show and accepted her British female solo artist honor with a smile. Chris Martin and his band Coldplay took home the British group award and performed during the event. Also on hand for the Brit Awards were Florence & the Machine, X Factor alums One Direction, Formula One driver Jenson Button, Kylie Minogue, Bruno Mars, and British singer Ed Sheeran, who picked up the statue for breakthrough act. See a Bit of the Breaking Dawn Honeymoon in Bruno Mars's Video For "It Will Rain"

Bruno Mars's "It Will Rain" is one of my favorite songs from the Breaking Dawn soundtrack, and it's easy to imagine the heartfelt ballad playing during the latest Twilight installment.

Bruno Mars's "It Will Rain" is one of my favorite songs from the Breaking Dawn soundtrack, and it's easy to imagine the heartfelt ballad playing during the latest Twilight installment. The song makes the most of its accompaniment in the music video, and though most of it is Mars doting on (and fighting with) a pretty love interest, there is a little bit of footage of Edward and Bella on their honeymoon. The clips are brief, but it's worth watching the video to see the newlywed couple and the serene looks on their faces.

Alicia Keys

Alicia Debuts "Typewriter," Justin Teams Up With Nicki, and Rihanna Wins Then Loses to Chris Brown at BET Awards

The BET Awards celebrated the largest names in hip-hop and R&B with wild fashion, high-energy dance routines, and a mini scandal at LA's Shrine Auditorium last night.

The BET Awards celebrated the largest names in hip-hop and R&B with wild fashion, high-energy dance routines, and a mini scandal at LA's Shrine Auditorium last night. The show kicked off with a mashup of hits from Mary J. Blige before the awards were dished out to the night's winners. Taking a break from touring with Britney Spears, Nicki Minaj joined Justin Bieber to present the best male hip-hop artist award to Kanye West. Nicki didn't go home empty handed as she took home the honors for best female hip-hop artist. Justin was without his girlfriend, Selena Gomez, but he was in the company of pals Jaden and Willow Smith, who stepped out with their parents, Will and Jada, and the siblings shared the win in the young stars category.

The night was full of incredible performances including a medley of hits and the debut of a new single, "Typewriter," from Alicia Keys, who was also marking the 10-year anniversary of her mega hit album Songs in A Minor. Most of the evening went down without a hitch, but there was a critical mix-up in BET's viewer's choice category when Chris Brown was announced the winner, then it was switched to Rihanna and Drake. Turns out Chris was the actual winner, and the error was due to teleprompter confusion, though Drake admittedly felt "awkward" about the error. Chris finished out the evening with four awards while Jennifer Hudson grabbed the win for best female R&B artist and Patti LaBelle was recognized with a lifetime achievement award — get the full list of BET winners here!
