Demi Moore joined several Oscar-winning Hollywood stars at AFI's Night at the Movies event in NYC last night. She wore a sheer jumpsuit as she mingled with stars like Harrison Ford, Sally Field, and Cher, who were all at the event to introduce one of their classic movies during the film-lovers bash. Demi presented Ghost, her 1990 film with Patrick Swayze, while Cher introduced Moonstruck and Sally chatted about Norma Rae. This was a rare red carpet appearance for Demi, whose last public event was to check out Ferragamo's Spring runway collection alongside Nicole Richie and Rachel Zoe back in January. She didn't make it to the Sundance Film Festival this year, but her new film with Elizabeth Olsen and Dakota Fanning, Very Good Girls, did premiere to decent reviews at the annual event.

Joel got in on some taped fun recently as well by creating a piece for Funny or Die.
40 Vintage Oscars Beauty Looks
Some stars' past Academy Award beauty looks weren't the best we've ever seen, but a peek back into the red carpet vault proves that there were many who got it right. Sure, poodle perms, frosted shadows, and brick red lipstick might look strange or dated to us now, but they at one point constituted what was hot at the time. Here are 40 stars who stood out with their memorable makeup and hairstyles at the Oscars (and Governors Ball) from way back when.

Do You Like Cher's Orange Hair?
The iconic singer Cher, has changed up her hair during her press and premiere tours for her newest movie Burlesque co-starring Christina Aguilera. At first, we saw her posing on the red carpet with her signature jet black hair, but at the London Premiere yesterday, she arrived donning a new, fiery orangey-red hue. I can't tell if it's a wig or not, but the fullness and volume leads me to believe that it may not be au natural. Vote below to let me know if you prefer Cher's hair red or black.

Christina Aguilera and Cher Steal the Show at the Burlesque Premiere
The red carpet was buzzing at last night's premiere of Burlesque in LA. Christina Aguilera was dressed up in a bold green Elie Saab gown, after donning a bright white dress to receive her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame earlier in the day. She opted for a more toned down look than her onscreen character, who plays the part in glittery eye-makeup and big hair. Cher went short and sparkly for the event and their costar Eric Dane had his wife Rebecca Gayheart by his side. Julianne Hough and her boyfriend Ryan Seacrest posed for pictures separately, though she recently gushed that "everything is wonderful" with their relationship. AnnaLynne McCord showed up solo after being spotted sneaking away from a romantic rendezvous with her ex Kellan Lutz yesterday. The musical features Christina's explosive voice and hits US cinemas on Nov. 24, then UK cinemas on Dec. 17.
