Russell Brand and Katy Perry shared big smiles on the red carpet at the Get Him to the Greek premiere in LA last night. Russell wore a white suit, while Katy wore a sparkly silver gown with a long train and pale violet shoes. Katy's parents also walked the red carpet with her, while Russell mingled with the guests including his costars Jonah Hill and Sean Combs.

Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens also showed up to check out the film, while Russell's Forgetting Sarah Marshall costar Kristen Bell was there to watch rocker Aldous Snow's latest adventures. Damages star Rose Byrne also attended in a LBD, and Rosario Dawson looked gorgeous as she posed on the red carpet.

Mark Ronson took a break from helping Amy Winehouse work on her new material to support his sister Charlotte, who hosted a JC Penney party in New York last night. They were joined by guests such as Mischa Barton who dressed all in black, Twilight's Nikki Reed, and Brittany Snow, who looked cute in a black minidress with bright splashes of colour.

Mark and his other sister Samantha Ronson did a duet, while Peaches Geldof and Eli Roth stayed by each others' side. Paris Hilton was accompanied by her sister Nicky and wore a striking stripy dress for the occasion, while Nicole Richie looked wide eyed in lots of fringing.

The Hollywood premiere of Kick-Ass took place last night, with all the stars of the movie present. Aaron Johnson and his pregnant fiancee Sam Taylor Wood posed together as the sun set, while Chloe Moretz, Clark Duke, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Lyndsy Fonseca reunited on the red carpet. Nicolas Cage chatted to Aaron and Chloe, while screenwriter Jane Goldman brought some bright colour to the carpet with her amazing hair. Unlike the London premiere, there was no Brad Pitt, but some British support came in the form of Stephen Fry, who looked very happy to be there, while Jaime King and Nicky Hilton also checked out the movie. It's out this weekend in the US — I wonder if it will do as well there as it did in the UK.

Aaron Johnson and Christopher Mintz-Plasse were in Manchester yesterday for a preview screening of Kick-Ass alongside Aaron's fiancee Sam Taylor Wood. Both stars have admitted that if they could have played anyone else in the movie it would be Hit Girl, played by 11-year-old Chloe Moretz. As you've seen from the trailer, Aaron and Christopher aren't that convincing as self-made superheroes, whereas Chloe definitely lives up to her name! The European premiere of Kick Ass took place last night in London's Leicester Square, with stars Aaron Johnson, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Chloe Moretz walking the red carpet alongside director Matthew Vaughn and an exciting appearance from producer Brad Pitt!
