The Best Highlights From the 2013 Golden Globes!

The 2013 Golden Globes were full of excitement and emotion in LA on Sunday night.

The 2013 Golden Globes were full of excitement and emotion in LA on Sunday night. Hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler kept the evening light with their jokes and antics, like Amy nuzzling with George Clooney in the audience and the two of them likening Kathryn Bigelow's short-lived marriage to James Cameron to "torture." Other stars also got some big laughs as well, including presenter Aziz Ansari, who pretended to be stoned from Downton Abbey star Michelle Dockery's weed cookies. Sacha Baron Cohen gave a mini roast of his Les Misérables costars, when he joked about Anne Hathaway's infamous upskirt incident and sarcastically remarked that Russell Crowe's singing lessons in preparation for the film was "money well spent." Jodie Foster came out while accepting her Cecil B. DeMille lifetime achievement award, moving many attendees to tears.

The show was also full of some big, surprising wins. Ben Affleck nabbed best director for Argo after getting shut out of the category for the Oscar nominations on Thursday, and Argo also won best drama motion picture over Lincoln. Hugh Jackman picked up the best actor in a comedy or musical honor, beating out favorite Bradley Cooper. Most winners broke down into happy tears while accepting their awards, including Jennifer Lawrence, Jessica Chastain, Anne Hathaway, and Lena Dunham. Lena got particularly emotional while admitting that she had looked up to her fellow best actress nominees when she was younger and that they helped her get through awkward moments. Always quick to add a joke, nominees Tina and Amy joked that they were happy they could get the young Lena "through middle school." Make sure to check out the full list of Golden Globes winners and weigh in on your favorite styles in our red-carpet fashion and beauty polls.

The Star-Studded AFI Awards Bring Out Ben, George, Jennifer, and More

The fun continued inside Friday afternoon's AFI Awards in LA.

The fun continued inside Friday afternoon's AFI Awards in LA. The bash, held at the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills, was held to honor the year's best in film and television. A total of 10 films, including Silver Linings Playbook, Argo, Les Misérables, and Lincoln, were supported by their stars and directors. Daniel Day-Lewis made the rounds with his costar Sally Field and director Steven Spielberg, while Argo's Ben Affleck, fresh off a win in the best director category at the Critics' Choice Awards, was accompanied by his producers George Clooney and Grant Heslov.

The Silver Linings Playbook clan also had a good night at the Critics' Choice Awards. Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence won top honors as best actor and actress in a comedy, and she also won best actress in an action movie for The Hunger Games. Their leading lady Jacki Weaver posed with Jennifer, and they were both in a celebratory mood because, in addition, their cast won best ensemble at the CCAs. The Les Mis crowd was well-represented, too. Anne Hathaway, Eddie Redmayne, and Hugh Jackson all attended. They said hello to friends from movies and television, which included cast members from Mad Men, like Christina Hendricks, and the stars of Girls, Modern Family, and more.

Anne Hathaway was one of the stars that came out for a special screening of Lincoln in NYC last night. Director Steven Spielberg, Daniel Day-Lewis, who plays President Lincoln in the movie, Tommy Lee Jones, and leading lady Sally Field were all on hand. Kellan Lutz broke from Breaking Dawn Part 2 press to watch the film and 666 Park Avenue's Dave Annable showed support for his former Brothers and Sisters costar Sally. Chloë Sevigny, Patrick Wilson, and Michael Strahan also attended ahead of Lincoln's big opening tomorrow. Anne Hathaway has her own project hitting theaters with Les Misérables coming out on Christmas Day. Anne's been making the rounds promoting the period piece, including a recent Vogue cover and role as host of the Women's Media Awards on Tuesday.

Daniel Craig and Daniel Day-Lewis Win Big at The Britannia Awards

Stars hit the red carpet at the 2012 BAFTA Los Angeles Britannia Awards at The Beverly Hilton Hotel last night.

Stars hit the red carpet at the 2012 BAFTA Los Angeles Britannia Awards at The Beverly Hilton Hotel last night. Daniel Craig was joined by his Skyfall Bond girls, Bérénice Marlohe and Naomie Harris, but it was his wife, Rachel Weisz, who he leaned in to kiss before picking up the British artist of the year honor.

Daniel Day-Lewis was also in attendance, and after Steven Spielberg presented him with the Stanley Kubrick Award for Excellence in Film, he took advantage of his stage time to show off his funny side. Daniel thanked BAFTA with a spoof of Clint Eastwood's conversation with an empty chair at the Republican National Convention. The comical speech was somewhat unexpected from Daniel, who is best known for his serious roles, including Spielberg's Lincoln, which hits theaters next week. The Britannia Awards will be broadcast on BBC America Nov. 11 at 8 p.m. ET as a two-hour special.

See Daniel Day-Lewis on the Official Poster For Lincoln

We've already gotten a look at Daniel Day-Lewis as Abraham Lincoln for Steven Spielberg's presidential flick, and now we have a peek at Lincoln's one-sheet.

We've already gotten a look at Daniel Day-Lewis as Abraham Lincoln for Steven Spielberg's presidential flick, and now we have a peek at Lincoln's one-sheet. Like the first look, this is another profile shot, but this one is a black and white close-up, meaning it's superserious. With all that hair and makeup, Day-Lewis looks strikingly like the 16th president, but I'm curious to see how he'll alter his voice and behavior to depict Lincoln. Also, here's to hoping we can get some pictures of Day-Lewis's costars, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Tommy Lee Jones, and Lee Pace soon!

The international cast of Nine joined together for a luncheon at Per Se in New York City yesterday, before changing into yet more outfits for a Broadway screening of their film at the AMC Empire 25 in the evening: will you see it or skip it? Nicole Kidman and Kate Hudson wore trousers for the lunch while Marion Cotillard went for a dress, and then Kate and Marion switched for the evening do. Daniel Day-Lewis and Judi Dench joined their costars as they did at the London premiere, and Brit Anna Wintour attended the luncheon too, but Penelope Cruz and Fergie missed out on yesterday's fun, having walked the red carpet at the LA premiere. Kate looked happy despite recent rumours she and Alex Rodriguez have split up.

Stars Walk the Red Carpet For Nine World Premiere in London

It was a starry red carpet outside the Odeon Leicester Square as Kate Hudson, Penelope Cruz, Judi Dench, Daniel Day Lewis and Nicole Kidman gathered for the world premiere of Nine.

It was a starry red carpet outside the Odeon Leicester Square as Kate Hudson, Penelope Cruz, Judi Dench, Daniel Day Lewis and Nicole Kidman gathered for the world premiere of Nine. Let FabUK know whether you love or hate Kate's Atelier Versace dress. They were joined by Brit beauties Natasha Kaplinsky, Shingai Shoniwa, Jasmine Guinness and Tamara Beckwith on the cold Winter's night in London. I'm so excited for the release of the film at UK cinemas on 18 December: will you see it or skip it?

The gang moved on to the after party, and Alex Rodriguez joined Kate for dinner at Scott's, with the party continuing at Annabels nightclub until Kate headed to Luton Airport to catch a private jet at 3am. Nicole was joined by Keith Urban, and all of the female stars wrapped up warm to protect themselves from the cold London night. Looks like a fun evening!
