Jennifer Lawrence makes a sexy statement in a white Balenciaga dress on the cover of Elle's December issue. She's currently filming the second installment in the Hunger Games franchise, Catching Fire, and talked about how she prepares for the role of Katniss in the publication. First, though, Jennifer has Silver Linings Playbook coming out this month. She has multiple other films in the works and shared that despite her success, she still stays grounded. Here's more from Jennifer Lawrence in Elle:

• On dieting: "I'm never going to starve myself for a part . . . I don't want little girls to be like, 'Oh, I want to look like Katniss, so I'm going to skip dinner. That's something I was really conscious of during training, when you're trying to get your body to look exactly right. I was trying to get my body to look fit and strong, not thin and underfed."
• On not living large: "Ten million dollars and I'm still living in my parents' condo . . . I've always lived in a tiny rat-infested apartment in New York, or a little condo in LA, or a normal house in Kentucky. I think it would be very bizarre to live in a big mansion by myself."
• On her boyfriend, Nicholas Hoult: "[My boyfriend] is honestly my best friend, and hopefully I'm his best friend too. He's my favorite person to be around and makes me laugh harder than anybody. . . . We can eat Cheetos and watch beach volleyball and we turn into two perverted Homer Simpsons, like, 'Oh, she's got a nice ass.' I never thought we'd have such different opinions on asses."

Victoria Beckham shared a few snaps from her recent shoot with Karl Lagerfeld for Elle France on Twitter today. She wrote that it was "a dream come true" to pose at Chanel's Paris shop on 31 Rue Cambon. Victoria may be looking back to her time in France, but she's currently in London with her daughter, Harper. The mother-daughter duo traveled to the UK over the weekend after spending a few weeks at home in LA with family. Victoria attended multiple soccer games to cheer on her boys, including David, who will hit the field again this Sunday to play against the San Jose Earthquakes.

Britney Spears covers the October 2012 issue of Elle, which hits newsstands Sept. 18. She also struck a pose with her husband-to-be, Jason Trawick, for the accompanying spread, shot by photographer Alexi Lubomirski and styled by Joe Zee — check out how to get Britney's look from the shoot. The next week will be busy a one for Brit as she gears up for the Sept. 12 debut of The X Factor. She touched on more personal topics with the magazine, though, including her style and how she met Jason. Here are highlights from Britney Spears in Elle:

• Britney on her style: "I love my jeans and my sweats — I'm really just a tomboy at heart. So it's really hard for me to be like Kim Kardashian and be makeup- and hair-ready every time I go out of my house. I'm not a believer in that, you know? On the other hand, when you do wear those sweats, you're like, 'Oh God, I should step it up a notch.'"
• Jason on how he and Britney got together: "It was kind of one of those things where she moved, like, turned around, so we were face-to-face, and then . . . "
• Britney adds: "Okay, that's enough information, sweetie. It was sweet, just say that."

Reese Witherspoon looks stunning in Giorgio Armani on the cover of Elle's February issue. She's prepping for the release of This Means War next month after closing out a big 2011 that included her wedding to Jim Toth. Reese opened up about meeting her now husband and how he changed her views on marrying again in the publication. She also shared her embarrassment over making so much money. Here's more from Reese in Elle:

• On meeting Jim for the first time: "It happened out of the blue. This really drunk guy was hitting on me, making such an idiot of himself, yelling at me. He was like, [slurring, scowling, pointing finger in her face] ‘You don’t know me.’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, I know. I don’t know you!’ Jim came over and said, ‘Please excuse my friend. He’s just broken up with someone.’ Jim was a really good friend, pulling him out of that situation. That’s just kind of who he is, a really good person."
• On being embarrassed by her earnings: "Every time they call and talk to me about money, I get embarrassed about it. A couple of women finally made me feel better: ‘To get what you’re making, do you know how much money people are making off of you?’ I’m like, ‘Oh, oh, okay.’"
• On Jim changing her mind about marrying again: "Jim said, ‘I’m gonna show you every day what a good partner is, what a good person is. I’m going to take care of you. I’m gonna do this so much that you’re gonna get used to it.’ I was like, ‘What are you talking about?’ I’ve never had anybody like that in my life."

Mila Kunis and Justin Timberlake get flirty for Elle's August issue and in their upcoming release Friends With Benefits. The pair sat down and shared what they consider to be the perfect first day, the idea of friends sleeping together, and their nude scenes, to which Mila complimented Justin on his "fine ass." Mila and Justin have shot down rumors of a real-life fling, and while Mila's been rolling solo since her breakup with Macaulay Culkin, Justin was spotted with his ex Jessica Biel over the weekend, sparking rumors of a reunion. Here's more from Justin and Mila:

• On the concept of friends with benefits:
  JT: [Smiles] "It is such a good idea—until it's a bad idea."
  MK: "I concur. Ultimately, it ends when someone wants to go and get serious with somebody. More times than not, a person catches feelings and somebody gets hurt."
• What they felt self-conscious about while shooting nude scenes:
  MK: [To Justin] "You've got a fine ass. I was self-conscious about a lot of things. Show me one girl who isn't."
  JT: "I'll be honest and say, like, I'm still trying to get into the editing room and cut down on my ass time. I'm like, 'Oh my God, my mom's gonna see that!'"
• On getting caught in the act by their parents:
  JT: "I was caught one time. My mom wasn't cool about it. I was too young to be in bed with a girl, so she was upset."
  MK: "I don't think my parents think I've ever had sex."
• Thoughts on the perfect first date:
  JT: "Something more simple than extravagant. Scrabble."
  MK: "Monopoly."
  JT: "Scrabble's a good date. If she can't spell, I don't want to hang out with her. So that's a good test."
  MK: "I can't spell at all. [To Justin] Now we'll never be friends."
• Mila on her older-man crush:
  MK: "George Clooney and Johnny Depp."
• On dating in the public eye:
  MK: "I haven't dated ever."
  JT: "I'm not equipped to answer that right now."

Robert Pattinson makes a special appearance inside the May issue of Elle, which features Gwen Stefani on the cover. He put on a sexy suit and sported a side part for the photo shoot as part of press for the upcoming Water For Elephants. Rob already got rugged for Entertainment Weekly, chatted with Jay Leno, and presented at the Academy of Country Music Awards to promote the project. Now he's talking about life after Twilight, his teenage crushes, and his dancing skills. Here's more:

• On the end of the Twilight excitement: "You know, when the whole thing dries up and there’s hardly any paparazzi around, I don’t know, in 15 years or something, I like the idea of just one paparazzo coming out and trying to get a picture, and I just beat the sh*t out of him. I mean, out of nowhere, when my picture’s not even worth . . . and I’ve spent all my money, so you can’t sue me!"
• On what embarrasses him: "I guess if you’re constantly in public, you’re not embarrassed about anything. But dancing is my Achilles’ heel, I don’t even try. It’s like, “Come on, dance!” “No, I’m not getting up!” I can freestyle by myself with no one watching. I’m a great dancer then."
• On being described as "weird": "I guess I used to be weirder. When you’re confronted with yourself too much, you start to think, Jesus Christ, you’re so f*cking boring. And the more you think you’re boring, the more you become boring. I talk about myself too much now."
• On who he daydreamed about as a teen: "I was always obsessed with Kate Moss. On my bedroom wall I had a poster of Linda Blair and Kate Moss. I always liked Jane Fonda. Who else? Ellen Burstyn."

Katie Holmes strikes a few flirtatious and sexy poses on the February cover of Elle US. She's been ramping up for a busy 2011, which will include juggling her fashion line, travelling with Tom Cruise and their family, starring in two films, and portraying Jackie O in the History Channel's upcoming miniseries The Kennedys. Inside the magazine she shares what it's like to play the role of an American icon and how she prepared herself emotionally for the role. Of course, an interview with the actress wouldn't be complete without a few anecdotal stories about her fashionable daughter, Suri. Here's more:

• On working hard to perfect her portrayal of Jacqueline Kennedy: "I worked as hard as I could, because I loved her. On set there was this feeling that we had to create something very special, because these people were very special."
• On playing such a complex role: "[The Kennedys] were like movie stars. There was such a professionalism to their public image."
• On designing for her clothing line, Holmes & Yang: "I have such an appreciation for the fine details and the amount of work it takes. I really appreciate clothing and designers so much more. It's made shopping even better."
• On Suri's shopping style: "The other day we came out of a store, and she said, 'I want to go there,' pointing at another store quite a distance away. In that store was the dress that she wanted. I said, 'Wow, Suri. You're something. You picked that out from a football field away.'"
• On getting fashion advice from Suri: "She'll really tell me [what she thinks]. Like today I'm wearing brown suede pants, and she said, 'I don't like your pants.' But then she'll say, 'You've got to wear these shoes.' Or 'That's so pretty, Mom. Wear that.' She's got a great eye."
