If you fell in love with Florence and the Machine's soulful pop on their powerful debut, Lungs, then I have some good news. The band has just released a new single from their next, not-yet-titled album. Titled "What the Water Gave Me," it's more of Florence Welch's signature mesmerizing croon set to lyrics that are both mournful and captivating. The album isn't slated for release until November 7, but you can get your first listen to the track when you read more

Alexa, Kelly and Florence Bring British Style to NYFW
Alexa Chung and Kelly Osbourne watched Florence and the Machine perform at Mulberry's party last night. The catwalk show took inspiration from Florence Welch by covering the models in red wigs! Alexa sat with Florence in the front row, and then at the party she cuddled up close with Kelly, after they attended Marc Jacobs' show and party the previous day. Fellow Brit Louise Roe was also there, as was her rival on The City Olivia Palermo, who posed with her boyfriend. Twilight hottie Xavier Samuel brought his girlfriend Shermine Shahrivar along.

Beautiful Blondes and Radiant Redheads Rock The Stage at the V Festival
We've checked out all the celebs backstage at the V Festival, including Rupert Grint, Dermot O'Leary and Alexa Chung, but now it's time to look at some of the performers! The girls took to the stage in some eyecatching costumes and FabUK has all the details of the stylish ladies. Heidi Range showed off her big smile on stage as she performed with the Sugababes, and Taylor Momsen kept her familiar teenage scowl for her set with The Pretty Reckless, while Alison Goldfrapp showed off a couple of amazing costumes over the two days.
Florence Welch poured all her energy into her amazing set, while fellow redhead Kate Nash pulled on a skintight bodysuit to perform her songs. Paloma Faith looked fab in a red dress and carried a red parasol which had long fringing hanging from it, adding to the drama of her catchy songs. Elsewhere Pixie Lott, Stereophonics, The Temper Trap, Kasabian and more performed, click through the gallery to check out all the acts!

Lady Gaga and Eminem Lead the VMA Nominations
I hope Lady Gaga has already started working on some new crazy outfits, because she might be getting a whole lot of stage time for the VMAs on Sept. 12th. She scored 13 nominations (the most ever in a single year) — though she shares many with Beyoncé thanks to their collaborations on "Telephone" and "Video Phone." It's not just ladies' night though; Eminem earned himself eight nominations, including video of the year.

As expected, Ke$ha, Katy Perry, and Jay-Z were well-represented, but there are a few surprises, too. I'm happy to see one of my personal favorites, The Black Keys' "Tighten Up," score a nod for breakthrough video. We're still waiting to hear who's hosting this one, but it'll be a star-studded night regardless. To see the full list, just read more

Emma Watson arrived with George Craig yesterday, and was spotted later in the day in her Louis Vuitton corset with a temporary tattoo on her left arm. Alexa was so pleased to see Henry Holland that she jumped on her buddy for a huge hug. Gorillaz had a multitude of guests onstage for their set including Shaun Ryder, Lou Reed and Snoop, and Damon Albarn looked like he enjoyed their set, which was hastily arranged after U2 pulled out.

FabUK has a round up of all the style.
