The red carpet at the Brits tonight was full of eyecatching gowns on female stars from music and TV. Those that dared to brighten up a little included Tess Daly who accompanied her hubby Vernon Kay on the red carpet and wore a pink gown. Eliza Doolittle wore some bright wedges and a splash of colour on her minidress, Rihanna went all out in her bright ensemble, while Lisa Snowdon showed off her amazing figure in a short neon yellow dress.

Adele looked gorgeous in a black dress ahead of performing at the ceremony, while Cheryl Cole shimmered in her floor length black gown — is Cheryl's dress your favourite with a thigh-high slit in the fabric? Avril Lavigne also wore an LBD and gave a nod to another red carpet trend with some neon stripes in her hair — do you love or hate her look?

The National Television Awards took place this evening at the O2 Arena in London. Several gorgeous stars of the small screen walked the red carpet, and there were plenty of beautiful baby bumps too. Jewel brights brought some welcome colour to the cold night, and both Big Brother winner Josie Gibson and Christine Bleakley favoured blue. Myleene Klass went for yellow while Davina McCall wore emerald green and Tess Daly kept it pale in pink.

Black was a popular choice too, with Alesha Dixon daring to bare in her plunge neck number. Eastenders' Lacey Turner wore a full skirt, while Cheryl Cole went for a slinky dress. Lacey was joined by her several of her costars, including Zoe Lucker, Rita Simons, and Jessie Wallace. Holly Willoughby and Emma Bunton both covered their pregnant bellies in black gowns. They've changed members more times than their hairstyle, but that isn't stopping the Sugababes joining the celebrity fragrance game. Reports emerged this week, that the trio are launching a set of fragrances, and just in time for the festive season! Apparently, the fragrance range will include three scents Tease, Tempt and Touch, one for each of the band members. Jade let the news slip on Twitter: "So EXCITED!!!! Just seen our final mock-ups for our fragrances!" To be honest, I can't believe they haven't done it before! It's exciting nonetheless. Are you interested in the Sugababes fragrance?

We've checked out all the celebs backstage at the V Festival, including Rupert Grint, Dermot O'Leary and Alexa Chung, but now it's time to look at some of the performers! The girls took to the stage in some eyecatching costumes and FabUK has all the details of the stylish ladies. Heidi Range showed off her big smile on stage as she performed with the Sugababes, and Taylor Momsen kept her familiar teenage scowl for her set with The Pretty Reckless, while Alison Goldfrapp showed off a couple of amazing costumes over the two days.

Florence Welch poured all her energy into her amazing set, while fellow redhead Kate Nash pulled on a skintight bodysuit to perform her songs. Paloma Faith looked fab in a red dress and carried a red parasol which had long fringing hanging from it, adding to the drama of her catchy songs.
