It seems to be a case of life imitating art for Mamma Mia stars Dominic Cooper and Amanda Seyfried, who left London club Mahiki in a cab together last night. According to The Daily Mail, a fellow clubgoer said: "They were kissing and holding hands, and being very tactile with each other". Both were in relationships during filming in 2007, but in an interview last June Amanda admitted she "felt something in [her] heart" for Dominic and ended her relationship.

The ceremony takes place on January 11, and Brits Dame Judi Dench, Eileen Atkins, Kate's husband Sam Mendes, Stephen Daldry and Danny Boyle are also nominated. Meryl Streep has two nominations in the Best Actress category for Doubt and Mamma Mia, and the late Heath Ledger is also nominated for Best Supporting Actor for The Dark Knight.

It's starting to get really cold now, so thank goodness for the DVD release of Mamma Mia! this week. One of the massive box office hits of the summer, the film based on the stage musical will bring some welcome sunshine and laughter into your living room.

The film version of Mamma Mia! has been such a massive hit at cinemas this summer that the producers have released a sing-a-long version, which will show at selected cinemas up and down the country from today.
Buy a ticket to one of these screenings and you can sing alongside cast members Meryl Streep and Pierce Brosnan thanks to the subtitled song words to ABBA tunes including "Dancing Queen", "SOS", "Mamma Mia", "Super Trouper" and "Gimme, Gimme, Gimme".
