Music Stars Have a Fun Night at the American Country Awards

Country stars were joined by their Hollywood friends last night for the third annual American Country Awards in Las Vegas. Hosts Kristin Chenoweth and Trace Adkins, who hosted last year's event too, made a hilarious entrance when they walked on stage with Trace carrying tiny Kristin in a pink baby sling. Kristin made multiple costume changes throughout the night, even changing into a sexy Santa costume to celebrate the Christmas season.

Big winners for the night included Miranda Lambert, who took home a single of the year award and a music video of the year award, and Carrie Underwood, who won the single of the year and female artist of the year prizes. This has been a busy month for Carrie, who we last saw at the taping of CMT's Artist of the Year celebration.

New York Fashion Week launched yesterday with shows and events attracting lots of celebs. Rose Byrne looked gorgeous in her pale pink floor length gown at the amFAR gala event, while Karen Elson performed there with her acoustic guitar in a white strapless dress. Inside, Blake Lively showed off her curves in a printed strapless gown, while Alexa Chung also went with a print and some bright red shoes at Christian Siriano's show, where she sat front row alongside Mena Suvari and Gabrielle Union. Celebs also spotted around Fashion Week yesterday included Penn Badgley, Kelly Rowland, Kanye West, Kid Cudi, Cat Deeley, Natasha Bedingfield, Jessica Alba, Julianna Margulies and so many more!

The sexy actor sported some stubble as he and sexy Camila took a break from their West Coast kid duties for the big evening out. Ryan Seacrest was surrounded by millions of people in Times Square Friday night as he co-hosted Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve. He took a break from American Idol to make the trip to the Big Apple while new AI judge Jennifer Lopez headed to Las Vegas with Marc Anthony. Last week Ryan laughed off rumors of an engagement to girlfriend Julianne Hough, though she was in attendance to lock lips at the stroke of midnight. Jenny McCarthy also got a surprise kiss from her new boyfriend, attorney Paul Krepelka. New Kids on the Block and Backstreet Boys shared the stage again performing a mashup of their greatest hits as they prep for a 2011 Summer tour that has most of you really excited. Willow Smith was in the spirit of the night whipping her hair back and forth while Ke$ha kept the party going with her chart topping hit "Tik Tok." Avril Lavigne debuted a new song, "What the Hell" and Jennifer Hudson showed off her fit frame while belting out the appropriately titled tune, "Feeling Good."

The American Music Awards was jam-packed with flashy performances after a daring red carpet for the women and leather loving guys. Rihanna opened the night sporting a bikini-ensemble for her three-song medley. Her good friend Katy Perry had her own moment in the spotlight wearing a skin-tight red bodysuit after ripping off her skirt while pregnant Pink put on a lively show, though the mum-to-be kept the acrobatics to a minimum. Taylor Swift's edgy arrival dress was your favourite, though she changed into an all black skinny pants and blazer ensemble for her dramatic "Back to December/Apologize" mashup. The red carpet at last night's American Music Awards in LA was packed with daring dresses and glammed-up girls. Fergie took a risk in a Falguni & Shane peacock feathered mini, balancing out her embellished shoulders with minimal makeup. Tangled star Mandy Moore also went short and sequined, while Kelly Osbourne opted for a simple strapless number and big hair. Heidi Klum wore something long and black, as did mum-to-be Pink, who glowed ahead of her highly anticipated performance.

Rihanna matched her red curls with a lacy Elie Saab gown. Sheryl Crow went with a bohemian look, and nominee Katy Perry got decked out in soft pink Badgley Mischka Couture. Miley Cyrus made a statement in white Marchesa with a long train and subtle eyeshadow, looking poised despite her alleged pre-show drama. Katy Perry wore a variety of different oufits and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley strutted her stuff on the catwalk in pale blue checked underwear at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in NYC yesterday. Rosie and her fellow Angels Alessandra Ambrosio, Karolina Kurkova, and Izabel Goulart had a different look to their locks, and BellaUK wants to know which hair colour do you prefer on the models? Rosie missed the photocall the day before as she was filming Transformers 3, but she made the trip from California in time for the show. She was joined by fellow Brits Gerard Butler and Natasha Bedingfield. Akon also performed, and other front row guests included Adrien Grenier, Vin Diesel, and Nicky and Paris Hilton.

John Mayer and Lauren Conrad teamed up in NYC Monday night for Save The Music's annual gala. The organization, which is dedicated to restoring and preserving arts education in public schools, has long been a philanthropic cause close to John's heart. He, along with John Legend and Julie Andrews, was honored for continually supporting their work. Lauren Conrad, meanwhile, made a cameo to introduce Natasha Bedingfield, who sang the theme song from The Hills. LC managed to escape to the East Coast for the evening during a break from her acting and reality star duties. Good Charlotte's Joel and Benji Madden were together to pose for photos near Twilight's Billy Burke, though his fictional daughter, Kristen Stewart, was off getting down to business with Robert Pattinson in Brazil.
