You probably don't need us to tell you that a Carolina Herrera-hosted fete is a very chic kind of party — so we'll show you. Last night, the designer's Vanity Fair-cohosted store opening on Rodeo Drive in Los Angeles brought out a crew of celebrity style setters, all dressed impeccably in —of course! — Carolina Herrera.Camilla Belle chose a Summer-perfect Carolina Herrera embroidered top and lace trumpet skirt, which she finished with punchy open-toe heels. Rashida Jones opted for an understated sheath dress with a cool, faded-effect pattern and studded suede ankle-strap heels. Ali Larter brightened up the red carpet in a red floral-print minidress and strappy black sandals — certainly the flirtiest look of the night. As for the rest, Kiernan Shipka looked polished and age appropriate in a sweet sheath with a ribbon bow at the waist. Amy Adams took the classic approach in a feminine white, ruffled blouse and a black pencil skirt, while Naya Rivera slipped into a '70s-glam polka-dot blouse and wide-leg pants, and furthered the vibe with hoop earrings and layered necklaces. Now that you've got the who-wore-what rundown, it's time to cast your vote. Who's your best dressed of the night?
Taylor Swift wore a curve-hugging Hervé Léger dress when she attended the 2013 MuchMusic Video Awards in Toronto last night. She was at the event to pick up the award for favorite international artist of the year and mingle with Canadian stars. Other celebrity attendees included an Amen-clad Lucy Hale, Naya Rivera and her boyfriend, Big Sean, Drake, and Avril Lavigne, who was joined on the red carpet by Chad Kroeger. Avril had a big night at the award show, as she scooped up the award for international video of the year by a Canadian for "Here's to Never Growing Up" and performed for a crowd of music fans.
It's been a big week for Taylor, who was honored with the celebrity fragrance of the year award at the Fragrance Foundation Awards in NYC last Wednesday. Don't miss our interview with Taylor Swift from last week's award show, where she talked about expanding her growing empire.
Amanda Seyfried made a stylish appearance at Allure magazine's Look Better Naked issue launch party in LA last night. The actress donned a black and gray Roland Mouret ensemble as she mingled with the magazine's editor in chief Linda Wells and Hollywood actresses like Naya Rivera, Leven Rambin, and Jennifer Morrison, who celebrates her 34th birthday today. The star-studded event was in honor of Amanda's upcoming April cover, in which she is clothed, while Naya and Jennifer are both featured in stripped-down looks for the publication's seasonal body-image feature.
Amanda will continue her red-carpet run after revealing last night that she will attend the Met Gala for the first time on May 6. Before Amanda prepares for the fashion industry's biggest night, though, she'll start work on A Million Ways to Die in the West with Charlize Theron.
Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, and Jane Lynch were joined by their Glee cast members to honor Ryan Murphy as he received the PaleyFest Icon Award in LA last night. Lea wore a sheer black Vivienne Tam dress while her boyfriend, Cory, went for a simple suit at the event. The Glee cast weren't the only stars from Ryan's shows to attend the shindig — Leslie Bibb, Carly Pope, and Leslie Grossman from Ryan's first show, Popular, walked the red carpet along with Andrew Rannells and Justin Bartha from The New Normal. Many of the stars of Ryan's shows have grown close with the prolific TV creator, and Andrew, Naya Rivera, and Darren Criss even did some impressions of Ryan Murphy on the red carpet for the Associated Press. After the award ceremony, Lea tweeted, "A beautiful night honoring the amazing Ryan Murphy. So happy for him. What a joy to be in such an amazing room with such incredible people."
If you can't wait until Glee's return, you can still watch Heather Morris, Cory Monteith, Matthew Morrison, Naya Rivera, and Harry Shum Jr. get down in this latest video from Funny or Die. Set to the tune of Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg's "Nuthin' but a 'G' Thang," Morris spits lyrics alongside her fellow cast members. As an added bonus, Modern Family's Sofia Vergara appears wearing a Sue Sylvester tracksuit and sharing her love for Jane Lynch (hmm, a reference perhaps to costar Ed O'Neill's Emmy comments?). My verdict: any video that features Monteith trying to do the robot is well worth watching. Watch, and listen for the many references to Morrison's abs. You know they had to.
The Glee cast arrived in London on Friday and partied at Mahiki on Saturday night. Cory Monteith, Dianna Agron, Mark Salling and Kevin McHale were joined by castmates Naya Rivera, Harry Shum Jr, Heather Morris and Jenna Ushkowitz plus new guy Chord Overstreet at the club, before appearing on The X Factor on Sunday. If you missed their performance, you can watch it here — complete with introduction by Jane Lynch and Matthew Morrison. It gave Amber Riley a chance to sing to American Idol judge Simon Cowell, after producers chose not to put her through on an early series of the show, while Jack Black and Peaches Geldof were among the star-studded audience in the studio last night. The cast are over here to promote the Glee tour, which is coming to the UK in Summer 2011.

Dianna Agron, Cory Monteith, and Mark Salling were among the Glee castmembers that arrived in London this afternoon ahead of their appearance on The X Factor this weekend. Mark stuck his tongue out at photographers as he walked through the airport with Dianna, Kevin McHale and Jenna Ushkowitz. New addition to the cast Chord Overstreet and Naya Rivera, who plays cheerleader Santana, followed close behind their castmates. Next year they'll be back in the UK to perform songs that they've sung in the show live on stage, in a recently announced tour which will take place in Summer 2011.
