Tom Cruise reunited with his costar Olga Kurylenko to premiere their latest film, Oblivion, in Tokyo today. They were joined by their director, Joseph Kosinski, for their Asian press tour, which will also include a premiere in China. Yesterday, Olga donned a Victoria Beckham dress to meet up with Tom at the film's press conference at the Ritz-Carlton in the Japanese capital. She has been happily tweeting about her time in the land of the rising sun, saying, "Just finished presenting the Oblivion premiere in Tokyo. So good to be back in Japan. I love spending time here!" Tom, for his part, has been keeping busy over the past few days despite his Tokyo press tour. On Monday, he announced that Mission: Impossible 5 has been confirmed, and he celebrated the release of Jack Reacher on DVD yesterday. However, Tom and Olga did miss out on a bit of fun earlier this week when they skipped the 2013 Met Gala so they could stick to their press duties abroad.
Tom Cruise hugged, chatted, and giggled with his costars at the Oblivion premiere in LA last night. He made a Burberry-wearing Olga Kurylenko crack a smile on the red carpet and later shared a big hug with Andrea Riseborough, who wore a glamorous Elie Saab frock. He also flirted with his fans, who had crowded the Dolby Theatre for a chance to see Tom, who signed autographs and even kissed the hand of one woman. Other stars at the event included Game of Thrones knight Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Melissa Leo, and Morgan Freeman, who spent his time on the red carpet chatting with Olga and Tom while decked out in a tuxedo.
This was Olga's second big premiere in a row as she attended the screening of To the Wonder with costars Ben Affleck and Rachel McAdams the previous night. She's had a packed schedule for the past few weeks, traveling the globe with Tom to premiere their film in South America and Europe. While in Germany, news circulated that Tom had commented that he "didn't expect" his divorce from Katie Holmes during an interview on a TV show. However, his rep now reveals that the quotes were entirely fabricated and he didn't address his recent divorce at all. We were on hand at the LA premiere to chat with Tom, Olga, and the rest of the cast — check back for our interviews soon!
Ben Affleck caught up with Rachel McAdams on the red carpet at the LA premiere of their newest film, To the Wonder. Rachel wore a black lace dress as she greeted Ben and their costar Olga Kurylenko, who took a break from her promotional duties for Oblivion to attend the event. Plenty of other stars turned out for the movie's debut, including Homeland's Morena Baccarin, Zachary Levi, and How I Met Your Mother's Josh Radnor. During the premiere, Ben discussed how he and Jennifer Garner balance their busy schedules with their family life. Jennifer recently revealed that she is happy to work less for Ben, but now that she's got new projects on the horizon Ben is picking up more home duties. He said, "I'm preparing myself to take on some more of the burden [at home]. She's got a couple of movies coming up, so it's going to be a little Mr. Mom action, and I'm going to get back in the ring and we're going to see if I still have it."
Rachel has been spending her time in LA working on her press duties for the film, which hits theaters on Friday, April 12. She stopped by Disneyland with her friends and family earlier this month and appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Monday, where she revealed that she got hallucinations after buying pot in her native Toronto.
Tom Cruise and Olga Kurylenko stepped onto the white carpet in London today, as their European press tour for Oblivion continued. Tom looked dashing in a three-piece suit, while Olga was stunning in a white Marchesa, embellished with black lace, at the BFI IMAX theater. The two have certainly racked up their frequent-flyer miles over the last few days as they toured South America before heading to Moscow on Monday. They brought Oblivion to Vienna on Tuesday, then continued on to Dublin, where a deserving Tom and Olga shared a Guinness. Rounding out their trip with work, Tom premiered Oblivion in Ireland last night with Olga before jetting off again.
Tom Cruise arrived at Dublin's Savoy Cinema last night to premiere Oblivion with his costar Olga Kurylenko. Olga appropriately wore Ireland's national color, green, with her Roland Mouret gown for their latest stop on a European press tour. Dublin welcomed Tom with open arms. Following a reception hosted by the Department of Foreign Affairs honoring his Irish ancestry, he celebrated by pouring pints at the Guinness Storehouse. Tom and Olga premiered Oblivion in Austria Tuesday after stopping in Moscow on Monday and South America last week.
Tom Cruise and his Oblivion costar Olga Kurylenko had a busy one yesterday in Moscow. They kicked things off with a morning photocall, to which Olga wore Stella McCartney. Later, Tom and Olga buddied up for a premiere. For the nighttime event, Olga picked a lilac Elie Saab gown. Tom introduced the big-budget film with a few words about wanting to go to Russia. He said, "I was always, you know, pushing the studios to say 'Look, I want to travel, I want to make films in different countries, with different actors.' It's one of the reasons that I started to produce films, because I love movies, but I also wanted to create stories that would allow a multi-cultural experience."
The duo moved on to Russia following a promotional stop in Brazil. Olga and Tom attended the Rio debut of Oblivion, and she apparently greatly enjoyed being there. She tweeted, "I loved Rio! Didn't stay long enough though. But I did have one to have a walk on the beach."
Tom Cruise was joined by his costars Andrea Riseborough and Olga Kurylenko at the world premiere of Oblivion in Buenos Aires, Argentina, yesterday. He wore a suit while Andrea donned an Elie Saab Couture dress. Tom posed for photos with fans on the red carpet ahead of the event, and even retweeted snaps of his Argentinean fans waiting for his arrival. This premiere marks a first for Tom, who has never opened a project in the country. Oblivion's publicity tour isn't over just yet, as Tom will be traveling to Russia to do promotional work before returning to the States for the US premiere.
All of the ladies who lined the red carpet last night at the BAFTA Awards, albeit if they were dressed in black, lace, yellow or beads, looked amazing. There were however a solid few whose beauty looks stood out from the rest. As Lancôme was the official beauty sponsor of the evening, their makeup artists have shared the precise products they used to create the gorgeous glow of Adele, Hayley Atwell, Lily James and Olga Kurylenko. Take a look here at their stunning beauty styles and learn how you can re-create these looks at home on your own.
Canadian fans gave Rachel McAdams a warm welcome at last night's To the Wonder TIFF premiere. She stepped out in a lovely green gown and was joined on the carpet by costar Olga Kurylenko, also wearing a similar emerald hue. Olga and Rachel were on hand representing the ensemble cast that also includes Ben Affleck and Javier Bardem. Rachel's boyfriend, Michael Sheen, also landed a part in the film; however, director Terrence Malick cut out his role in addition to Rachel Weisz's and Amanda Peet's. This isn't the last premiere of the week for Rachel; her dramatic thriller Passion is also screening throughout the week at this year's Toronto International Film Festival. We're on the scene, so be sure to follow us on Twitter for all the latest updates, news, and photos from the festival.
LBDs were the order of the day for the Vogue Bulgari Charity Reception at the Saatchi Gallery in London last night. Peaches Geldof, Natalie Imbruglia and Bonnie Wright all kept their outfits classic and simple at the party to support Save The Children's Rewrite the Future campaign as part of Bulgari jewellery's 125th birthday celebrations, while James Corden brought a pop of colour with his bright jacket and shoes as he hung out with pal Dominic Cooper. The newly blonde Peaches provided some entertainment later in the evening by taking to the decks.
