Not only is January already here, but it seems to be zipping right on by. That means that Spring is just around the corner. With makeup, skincare and nail collections already launching, it's never too soon to re-evaluate your makeup bag and get out with the old and in with the new. Here are 5 products you won't want to miss to look beautiful and on trend this Spring!
On the heels of her divorce, Katy Perry has something beautiful to celebrate, namely a collaboration with UK eyelash brand Eyelure to launch a range of four styles of false lashes. The collection will be out in the US this Valentine's Day with a UK launch set for later in the month. Without any glitter or diamante embellishments, the lashes are more Girls Aloud than Sex and the City (both are other Eylure collaborations). Katy says,
"I’ve worn Eylure lashes all the way through my tour and really loved them. When it came to having a range of my own, I wanted everyone to have a great experience with my lashes. As they have such an amazing history and great quality, Eylure was really the best choice for me to work with."

Besides being a multitalented actress and singer, Zooey Deschanel is famous for her Kewpie-doll looks, choppy dark bangs, and offbeat sense of style. At last night's premiere of Our Idiot Brother in Hollywood, she stuck to her signature look, wearing a graphic black and white dress with a strong collar, a tousled side bun, and pretty, '60s-inspired makeup. As for those mile-long lashes, she appeared to be wearing false lashes on both her upper and lower lash lines, making for a dramatic, doll-like look. Tell us what you think: is it a cute look for Zooey, or is it too much?
Check out some of these wild false lashes from Luna & Curious (£12 each) in the form of clowns, peonies, horses, peacocks and my favourite ones (shown left) deer and butterfly.
Whilst they are certainly beautiful and intricate works of art, I'd fear that I'd be blinking constantly and they'd be more of a distraction than anything.
Would you wear animal and flower-inspired false lashes?
