I've seen Forgetting Sarah Marshall a handful of times now, and after each viewing I love it a little bit more — so you can be sure that I'm going to recommend this DVD (out today) highly!
I think your enjoyment of this movie will partly depend on whether you're in the camp that love Russell Brand (or are fairly indifferent), or the camp that hate him with a vengeance. I'm in the former, so his part in this film is a highlight for me — he plays English rock star Aldous Snow, the man that Peter Bretter (Jason Segel) has lost his TV star girlfriend to.

Russell Brand is quite the jet-setter, swapping LA for New York and an appearance on TRL with his Forgetting Sarah Marshall co-stars last night. The American stars talked about nudity and penises, but not one to be outdone Russell brought the subject round to orgasms. The audience seemed to love Russell as much as we do, cracking up when he claimed he was looking for a wife with type O blood.

Russell Brand loves his Mum. He introduced her to Jay Leno earlier this week, and last night he took her to the LA premiere of Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Doesn't she look proud of him?!

I was a huge fan of Judd Apatow's TV series Freaks and Geeks, so when I heard that he and one of the series' stars – Jason Segel – were getting together to write and film the comedy Forgetting Sarah Marshall, I was so excited.
The cast also includes Jonah Hill (Superbad), Kristen Bell (Heroes), Mila Kunis (That 70s Show) and our very own Russell Brand in a pretty major role. Russell plays Aldous, a British rock star who steals TV star Sarah (Bell) away from Peter (Segel).

Last year Russell Brand flew over to the US to appear in a new Hollywood movie written by Judd Apatow and Jason Segel.
In Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Russell plays a tragically hip British rocker named Aldous(!) who is with Segel's TV star ex-girlfriend. It also stars Paul Rudd, Jonah Hill, Kristen Bell and Mila Kunis.

Producer Judd Apatow and his merry band of actors including Jason Segel, Paul Rudd, pregnant Busy Phillips, Seth Rogen and Jonah Hill were at Media's 25th Annual Paley Television Festival in California this week – somewhere I would kill to be, what with the exciting Buffy reunion there soon. Our girl Buzz will be there though, so definitely keep your eyes on the Sugar network for all the news.
Viral marketing continues to be a filmmaker's friend, as the blog for the new Judd-produced film Forgetting Sarah Marshall is proving.

Russell Brand invited fans to a once in a lifetime performance last week, and on Sunday it all came together as he performed at Rockefeller Plaza in character as Forgetting Sarah Marshall's Aldous Snow, soon to be the star of his own spin off Get Him To The Greek. Russell's costar Jonah Hill, who also appeared in the original movie, was also on set — their interactions were one of my highlights of the original, so I can't wait to see the finished product when it comes out in the Spring next year!

Russell Brand has left our shores again, and was spotted picking up a coffee in LA yesterday. Even though his film has been knocked off the number one spot in the UK box office, his acting career looks set to go from strength to strength, meaning Russell will continue to get even more well-known outside the UK. So with that in mind, I want to know what you all think of the funnyman.
