Three's a Controversial Crowd on Gossip Girl!
Here's some Friday manjoyment for you — those Gossip Girl guys were spotted filming alongside their musically talented costar Leighton Meester this week. Ed Westwick looked rather handsome in his brown leather jacket as he picked up something to eat, while in a different part of New York Chace Crawford was happy to have a couple of photos taken as he walked down the street. The show is currently causing some controversy due to an upcoming threesome storyline which the Parents' Television Council has said is not appropriate for the teenage audience — most fans are just wondering who's going to be involved in the plot!
Spotted: Leighton Meester Belts Out a Tune with Weezer!
Leighton Meester was glowing in her silky dress at the Library Lions benefit in New York last night, rocking smoky eyes and wavy hair. The Gossip Girl teamed up with Cobra Starship for the single "Good Girls Go Bad", has an album on the way, and on Halloween night Leighton made a surprise appearance on stage with Weezer in Manhattan! She looked very un-Blair Waldorf as she sang the bands latest single with frontman Rivers Cuomo in a black top and multicoloured trousers, and looks like she's pretty comfortable up on the stage.
Gossip Girls Taylor and Jessica Are Going GaGa
Taylor Momsen was showing her musical side, carrying her guitar at the set of Gossip Girl yesterday. She has her own band — The Pretty Reckless — so I wonder if she asked Lady GaGa anything about her success when the edgy popstar made a cameo appearance on the show, which she filmed last week. Taylor and Jessica Szohr both looked like they were wrapping up warm for the chilly New York weather yesterday in their knits, as Jessica got close to her hot drink.
Ed Westwick Tugs at Jessica, Ashley and Hilary's Heartstrings
Ed Westwick hosted a party for the opening of artist Todd DiCiurcio's "Heartstrings" exhibition at the Confederacy store in Los Angeles on Saturday night. He was joined on his trip to the West Coat by Jessica Szohr and their fellow Gossip Girl star Hilary Duff, and the trio looked like they enjoyed some time off from filming scenes in New York. Ashley Greene also looked thrilled to hang out before heading to the U2 concert on Sunday night.

Did you watch Gossip Girl last night? I'm avidly watching the third season of the show at the moment, and the cast are still busy in New York filming further episodes. Yesterday Penn was caught by autograph hunters as he took a break, while Taylor sported her shades to check on her phone — her legs seem to get longer in every picture!

It was a cold day in New York yesterday, but the Gossip Girl cast were out on the streets filming new scenes for the third series of the show — currently airing on Wednesdays on ITV2. Leighton Meester changed from some comfy looking boots into some high stilettos as they shot scenes, while Blake Lively wrapped up in a duvet-replacement coat during her breaks. The cameos on the show this season look set to get a lot more posh, as Victoria Beckham is said to have landed a role in an upcoming episode.

Spotted: Hilary Duff and Penn Badgley getting pretty passionate on the set of Gossip Girl in New York yesterday. These exciting pics from season three of the show couldn't come at a better time, as the first episode of the new series starts tonight on ITV2 at 8pm! Kevin filmed scenes alongside Taylor in New York yesterday, while Ed Westwick and Leighton Meester were wrapped up for filming elsewhere. Treats were on the menu for Chace Crawford and Blake Lively, who were also on set yesterday looking rather happy as they ate.
