Lil Wayne Sentenced to a Year in Jail for Gun Possession
Rapper Lil Wayne attended Manhattan criminal court yesterday and has been sentenced to a year in prison for gun possession charges. There were a couple of delays to his sentencing due to emergency dental work, and a fire at the court.
In 2007 a loaded 40-calibre semi-automatic gun was found on his tour bus and the charges stem from that incident.

David Beckham finally returned to his beloved Old Trafford as AC Milan played their second leg Champion's League match against Manchester United. Having lost the first leg in Italy, David's team also lost the game last night 4-0, but Becks still smiled as he waved from the stands and applauded the crowd, who gave him a standing ovation as he took to the pitch in the 64th-minute. After chatting with his England team mates, David bundled up in a scarf and hat as he flew back to Italy.

Corey Haim Has Been Found Dead After Suspected Overdose
I'm sad to report that Corey Haim has been found dead at the age of 38. The LAPD have said that it seems he died from "an apparent overdose" — thought to be accidental — and that they were called to St. Joseph's hospital in Burbank, California shortly before 4am PT to investigate.
