I'll be popping in and out of the comments thread to chat during the first live show at 7.00pm until 8.15pm, then we'll all take the break between the shows, and then get right back on The X Factor discussion when the second show starts at 8.45pm until 9.15pm.
Feel free to leave comments and your thoughts when I'm not here to discuss, as I will check back and I'm sure plenty of PopSugarUK readers will be interested in your input and will have something to say back!

The stars arrived looking glam last night, and they were all there to see who would receive the statuettes at the Primetime Emmy Awards! 30 Rock and Mad Men were both big winners last night, taking the top Comedy Series and Drama Series trophies. Kristin Chenoweth was thrilled and tearful as she took to the podium to accept her Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy award for Pushing Daisies while Toni Collette won Best Actress in a Comedy for her amazing turn in The United States Of Tara.

The guests at the MTV VMAs looked great on the red carpet last night, but let's not forget they were all there for the show and the awards! Russell Brand hosted the event, and was surprisingly not the one at the centre of controversy this morning, after Kanye West managed to be the one upsetting people at the event. After announcing that the winner for Best Female Video was Taylor Swift he interrupted her speech, saying: Taylor, I'm really happy for you, and I'm gonna let you finish, but Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time."
