It's no wonder Katie Price gave a smile to photographers as she left the GMTV studios in London earlier, as her career continues to diversify. Hot on the heels of rumours about Victoria Beckham's possible cameo in the Sex and the City movie sequel, Kate has confirmed she has her eye on the film too. She said: "I recently went to LA where I was doing my acting lessons for Sex and the City Part 2.

- Chris Evans won both Music Radio Personality of the Year and the Entertainment Award at the Sony Radio Academy Awards last night. Chris Moyles lost the Breakfast Show Award to 5 Live, and Vanessa Feltz was named Speech Radio Personality of the Year. — PA

- James Kambewa, Mercy's father, has begun a bid to claim full custody, saying: "I don't think Madonna is a model mum. I have seen her in movies of her songs. She doesn't portray good morals".
Sugar Bits — Mat Horne Considers Return to Stage Tonight
- After collapsing on stage yesterday, Mathew Horne was taken to hospital but was discharged later in the day. His spokesman says Mat is exhausted after working non-stop for three months. He will make a decision today about whether he feels well enough for this evening's performance.

While Sex and the City author (and rumoured I'm a Celebrity... contestant) Candace Bushnell enjoyed cocktails with Cosmopolitan after launching her fifth novel One Fifth Avenue in Sydney yesterday, Sarah Jessica Parker responded to rumours about the second SATC film. Following Kim Cattrall's confirmation about the sequel earlier in the week, SJP has clarified that things aren't quite so far along as that yet, telling Access Hollywood: "I’m thrilled to know Kim is excited but all the deals are not yet done.
